We cannot say enough good things about Little Scholars. Both of our daughters attend this school. Our oldest is 4 years old and has been going here since she was just 4 months old, and our youngest is currently 10 months old in the infant room. Our older daughter has made wonderful friends and truly loves going to school every day. The Pre-K teacher, Ms. Rosa, has been a game changer in her learning and confidence. The class is always doing engaging activities like arts and crafts, cutting, gluing, painting, and singing and dancing to music. Learning is fun, structured, and meaningful here. The infant room is just as impressive. Mrs. Kimberly and Mrs. Natalie are incredibly loving, attentive, and nurturing. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our baby is cared for so well every day. Little Scholars has had such a positive impact on both of our daughters’ growth and development. We are extremely grateful we found this school and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a loving, high-quality preschool.
I would like to start this review out by saying how much our children enjoy Little Scholars. With all the events they host (see images), filed trips and engaging activities, it is truly a delight to see our children not only grow but develop in a nurturing environment. When our 3 year old comes home all excited ready to practice writing (her name, learning colors and tracing), my wife and I are excited she's excited. Our baby daughter is actually our second child to attend Little Scholars and it's the same great people and clean facility. The schools directors, Aracely, Taryn and Alyssa are just so polite and hospitable. I have even had great conversations with the owner that made me feel comfortable and welcoming. The staff are always on top of updates of our children. I get notifications to my phone with naps, food times, and potty breaks. I am not one post or write reviews, but when I have a good experience I feel it is warranted. If I have a bad experience somewhere, I don't post, tweet or complain, I just never go there again. I have been fully satisfied with the quality of learning experience Little Scholars has provided and still do for our most precious little people in the world, our children. Keep up the great work! It's good to still know people care about our children, because they are our future!
Both our kids went here for most of their child care ranging from 5 months to their transition to TK. My 18 year old niece and 21 year old nephew also went here and still have good memories - director and assistant director’s remembered them by name when we met. The summer program has a full calendar of activities, including field trips for the school age kids. There is a ton of play based learning, and while I cared more about them being happy and healthy than anything while they’re spending long days at daycare, I was impressed by both of my girls transitions to public schools. Both were well ahead of the learning curve in reading, writing, counting, listening, etc. I’ll close by saying how unfair it is to write a 1 star review based on a truncated tour of the facility. Sorry to say, but if you’re worried about a runny nose at a daycare, good luck! In the 5 years or so our kids were there, I never saw accumulation of trash. 5/5 - we miss you Little Scholars!
One of our worst mistakes was sending our child here. From our perspective, teachers and staff were dishonest and there was inadequate supervision. Would not recommend
Our grandson has been going to Little Scholars in Yorba Linda since preschool and he is now in second grade. It is a wonderful place for young children. It is clean and bright and well equipped to keep the kiddos engaged. The staff are warm, caring and communicate well with parents and grandparents. They provide snacks and meals, and have a wonderful summer program with lots of fun activities and field trips. We’re so glad that our two younger grandchildren have recently become part of the Little Scholars family too!
