What Parents Say
Little Scholars Academy receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents who praise the quality of instruction, caring teachers, and supportive environment. Parents highlight strong academic preparation, individualized attention, and excellent communication with families. Multiple parents report their children thriving emotionally and academically during their time at the school.
It’s disappointing to see negative reviews from parents who may not have prepared their child with the skills and tools needed to navigate the world, even at age 3. My son has been at Little Scholars since Pre-K 3 and is now in Pre-K 4. Like many children, he struggled in the beginning with independence (and still has his days), but what I’ve found here is nothing but love, patience, and genuine care. This small, close-knit community has given him the support he needs to grow, and I’ve watched him thrive emotionally and academically over the past two years. I am so grateful for his teachers Ms. Becky, Ms. Alicia, and now Ms. Nakita, who have poured into him with kindness, respect, and encouragement. I fully trust Little Scholars to treat my son with dignity, guiding him as the little individual he is. Truly a wonderful place for children to learn and grow!
Whew lord. Told me I needed to send my son’s aid to summer camp. My son has an IEP and during school he has an aid in his class. Now you mean to tell me I should pay a weekly fee and on top of that pay an aid to go to the summer camp as well? Never in my life….I spoke with the school and no one has heard of that. The school would only supply his aid if he was at the school…Not a summer camp program. So that means if an aid was to be there, I would have to provide/pay for it. Make it make sense on why I would pay a summer camp darn near $300 a week PLUS pay an additional person to be in the classroom with my son. Thank goodness I was able to find a summer camp for my son and he LOVED them!! No additional aid provided.
Little Scholars Academy hands down is the best preschool ever. Being a former teacher myself, I must say this preschool mimics the exact foundation every parent wishes and wants for their child. The teachers are all professionals, well educated, and they all work miracles with their students. My children have been attending a few years now and between their school curriculum and summer camp, I can’t not judge which is better (because both are amazing). I have enrolled my daughter in about 3-4 different preschools and none of them measure up to LSA. I always refer parents to this preschool. Your child is safe, supported, cared for and your child will transform literally into a little scholar. The Director Ms. Danielle is wonderful along with the co/ director Ms. Tyisha. Every Teacher here is just amazing. I am so blessed that I found them and now my child will be entering Kindergarten as a well educated student. Amazing !!!
This school is very unprofessional They are very rude and racist the lady at the door is very rude I wanna assume is the owner she greets all Her people nicely and welcoming and every other person like non welcoming I don’t understand how you run a child service center but can’t simply demonstrate kindness to others especially in front of their guardians Also they are all about money they wanna over charge everything and come and just be rude I Understand we have to be stern but one thing being stern one thing being rude and disrespectful also if they see other schools doing any transportation or anything with that matter they will make them seem wrong to parents in order to take their kids the whole school is just very unprofessional - Shellissa Johnson
My daughter attended Little Scholars for pre-k 3 and 4 and she loved it! I like that they follow the creative curriculum and actually teach the students. They follow a routine schedule with the students that involves dramatic play, centers. My daughter learned so much. They even do parent teacher conferences. I am a teacher myself, so I know what a quality pre-k looks like and this is one! The teachers are also very friendly and you can tell they actually care about the kids. The students also wear uniform which for me is a plus!!
