I’m going to start this review because I think it’s unfair that people only post when they are unhappy about something their kid did that caused a consequence or reaction. Blame is always passed but never addressed at the source! It’s unfortunate some people feel their children she be allowed to destroy other children’s experiences with their poor behavior and disrespect of adults. We are a traditional household that believes in raising our daughter with respect and morals. Our daughter has been going to Our Little Red for the past 3 years and absolutely loves it! She went full time (4 yrs old) and then during the summer for the summer camps(5/6 yrs old) . She is always happy and comes home with new positive experiences daily. They do lots of fun activities for the kids to learn from (science experiments, trips, foam/ splash parties, arts & crafts). The staff is wonderful and caring with very little turnover. All of the staff has been there since she started going there. I must say that this daycare sets itself apart by keeping good traditions and academics imbedded within the day. There is very little tolerance for poor behaviors that parents won’t address. They guide parents who need it in help them with their kid who misbehaves. I absolutely love this because it makes my daughter feel safe and happy to be there with other respectful well behaved kids. The owner is not your ordinary daycare owner because she is actually knowledgeable and invested in making sure our children have a good start in life. She truly focuses on the whole child. She is always there working with the staff and kids. I love that she has presence in her establishment and is always willing to help or offer advice when needed. If you want a reasonable top notch daycare without the “chaos” that comes with most daycares. I strongly recommend Our Little Red! We love them!!!!

Edit: It has been 2 years since I reviewed this daycare and I have another little boy who now has been here since he was just over a year old (they didn't take babies before but since then now they do). I still believe that this daycare is truly a blessing to my life and my boys. My 3 year old already knew his letters and could count to 100 (yes he skips a number or two but I'll take it). He he starting to recognize words written down so he is reading and at 3!! They have a great program and I continue to recommend them!! My son has been here a little over a year and I couldn't be happier with having him here. When he started he refused to speak. We had him in speech therapy prior to daycare and we feel is did nothing for him. Having him here though opened him up so much!! They truly care about the kids. He has learned so much and is now ahead when he starts school next year. We are so blessed to have all these ladies in our lives!!!

I am grateful to this daycare, all of its administrative staff, and the teachers my son has had there. At this daycare, he learned to speak English and improve his Spanish, and today it is the place where he wants to spend every summer when he doesn't have school.. 🥰

It's great to read all these comments. I'm looking for information about a safe and reliable place for my 17-month-old baby. Thanks to the mothers who gave their negative opinion, it helped me a lot to find another place for my daughter.

**My review was deleted from when I posted it in March so I am reposting. “First I would like to say that my son had been attending Our Little Red Schoolhouse for over two years. In that time there are a few things that were concerning such as a teacher showing up to our house to ask about my son when he didn’t attend the daycare for a few days (because I was WFH and kept him with me, which the daycare was aware of). How she got our address and thought that was okay is beyond me. I talked with Mrs. Juanita and I felt like the situation was handled. That happened about a year ago. Since then I have not had any issues until this past Monday. Mrs. Alejandro informed me when I picked my son up that him and another student were having issues but did not inform me on any details. Once my son got in the car he told me that Mrs. Jada had grabbed his arm and told him to get out of her classroom. Mind you my son is 8 years old. I pulled back in and informed Mrs. Alejandro. She said she would talk to the teacher and inform Mrs. Juanita to look at the cameras. Next morning Mrs. Alejandra says she spoke to Mrs. Jada and she said my son and the another student were fighting and she didn’t grab my son but put her hands out because my son was trying to hit her. my son has never hit an adult. That was huge red flag and I said I would still like to see the camera footage. That afternoon I was brought into Mrs. Juanita’s office. REMEMBER I was told in the beginning that 1. My son was hitting unprovoked 2. The teacher did not grab my son aggressively . In reality This teacher was over the infant classroom but was brought in a week ago to fill in because my sons original teacher is on leave. I was not informed that my sons teacher was changed and also that this teacher, Mrs. Jada, was not informed that my son has a neurological disorder, and that the other student in question was not suppose to be around my son and vice versa. I expressed my concerns on that matter and I was told, yes you should have been told. That’s it. Now watching the footage, you see this other student who is a year older talking to my son, there’s no audio but you can see my son tense up, and try to get away from the kid, my son does hit the kid with something on the desk, (which he did get in trouble for at home) because the kid would NOT get out of his space. Then the second instance same thing, my son was backed into the wall by the same kid. In the video and Mrs. Juanita confirmed, Mrs. Jada for 10 or more minutes was not watching the classroom or the students. my son is having conflict, not being able to relax, having to fend off another child, she is not watching. Now REMIND you Mrs. Juanita in the beginning said Mrs. Jada did NOT grab my child at all. As I watch the footage I was and am still BAFFLED that Mrs. Jada was not immediately reported. I watch it again and tell Mrs. Juanita she clearly grabbed my child’s arm, SWUNG him around her body and brought him out of the room? THEN Mrs. Juanita says, oh I was upset also and talked to the teacher and told her she could not grab kids like that because she is NOT TRAINED to. So all the teachers lied to my face, saying my son was not grabbed. I was so shocked. Then she decides to tell me my son has been hitting AFTER I tell her I was reporting Mrs. Jada. I tell her I have not received one report in the past year and half. His teacher has never once contacted me. Her only response was oh you should have been told? how long my son was not being watched, allowed to be grabbed, I honestly will never know. I told Mrs. Juanita I was reporting Mrs. Jada because no one should ever grab a child like that and there were no protocols followed. She said okay and made a comment that if she reported it she would also include the footage of my son hitting? Yes my son should have not hit but he was being VERBALLY attacked by another child NOT being watched and physically assaulted by his teacher. After leaving I reported Mrs. Jada and there is an investigation going on.” PICTURE BELOW
