Children show improvements in academics, socialization, and enthusiasm for attending school.
We found Little Promises Academy two years ago when we were searching for a preschool for our daughter. She was going to a smaller day care and we were looking for a certain environment for her move to preschool. We found a friendly, clean, positive, educational facility that we were comfortable with in Little Promises. Miss Nellie and the staff at Little Promises have been absolutely amazing with our 4 year old daughter. They have made her feel at home, comfortable and loved from the very beginning and in addition to that she is learning and growing so much. The staff and Miss Nellie in particular have become an extension of our family for our daughter. They have created an environment that is nurturing and fun. Our daughter talks continuously about what she is learning, the friends she has made and the special things she is doing every day. Miss Nellie has taken extra time to just talk with us about our daughter. She has always been available for us and we really can see how much she cares about her. This has been very comforting to us as parents. Little Promises is a wonderful school and we would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a good preschool experience for their child.
Little Promises is a wonderful school and my wife and I would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a quality pre-school experience for their child. We are impressed by the quality of the teachers, the program, and especially the love and care given to our daughter Kayla and son Ryan. Our daughter’s socialization and academic skills dramatically improved once she began attending Little Promises. Our daughter looks forward to attending school every day and loves learning from her teachers and playing with her classmates. My son Ryan also loves Little Promises. He used to cry and scream when leaving for daycare. However, once he began Little Promises he now looks forward to leaving in the morning. Nellie and the Little Promises staff have also been very accommodating in coordinating efforts with the Randolph Public Schools to provide my son with transportation to and from his pre-school program with the town.
Little Promises is a fantastic pre-school!! I spent a lot of time looking around for the right fit for my daughter and so happy we found Ms. Nellie, Miss Sue and Miss Leeds as well as all the supplemental staff. Everyone is so warm and nurturing and really understand the needs of a toddler. The children are treated as individuals, even extended family members and are allowed to learn in a setting of encouragement and fun. What sets them apart is that Little Promises goes far beyond the ABC's, teaching children how to think for themselves, love and respect others and handle real-life stressors both in and out of the classroom. The children flourish here with confidence knowing that they can learn in an environment that makes them feel safe and loved.
Amit, I'm so glad to hear your son is doing so well at his new school. I had the opportunity to look over Little Promises site today and I saw the review that you wrote publicly about Nellie. I'm very disappointed about your negative comments. Nellie cared and offered suggestions and gave you some ideas on how to make the transition easier in school for your son. She even recommended an evaluation at the public school. For you to say she used you and didn't care is ridiculous. Every child that walks in te door at Little Promises is treated like her family. Best, Chrissy Sunberg (past teacher at Little Promises)
Little Promises has provided an incredibly safe, loving, and nurturing environment for our 5 year old daughter. From the moment you walk into the school you are greeted with warmth - from the gentleness of the staff to the aesthetics of the classrooms and the calm sweet music that is played during nap time. Even the cheerfulness of the themed bathrooms left an inviting impression! As soon as I walk in I can't help but smile. Our daughter feels the same way, as does her twin brother who does not attend regularly. However, he has expressed, on more than one occasion, that he would like to go to school at Little Promises and he calls it a "treat" when he does get to attend. The afternoon kindergarten class has been incredible for our daughter who will be attending public kindergarten in the fall. Because of the smaller class sizes during the afternoon hours, her teacher has been able to individualize her instruction so much so that she truly is learning new things each day! I have every bit of confidence that she is fully ready for kindergarten! As a staff member of the home-school coop housed in the same facility and also directed by Mrs. Nellie, I am grateful for the constant love and, "family first," attitude that she exudes at all times. This is a wonderfully nurtured program that offers so much to our little ones!
