Little Pioneers Preschool-School Age

My now 3yo and 5yo (almost 6yo) have been attending Little Pioneers for about a year and a half. Since my youngest was about 18 months. They provide diapering care and naptime. And teach letters, numbers, shapes, colors etc. as great preperation for Kinder and public school, which is NOT a first Nor foremost priority for child development. Emotional and social health and development is the most important aspect of child development which is one of the reasons my children attend preschool instead of staying home, since the Family Treehouse is no longer in operation. But, the owner and most of the staff seem tired and often grumpy which doesn't encourage me to leave my little ones there. My 5yo is ahead of her transitional kinder class she just completed & recieved a best reader award. (Our first language is English and we only know some minimal spanish, which we would like to learn) Little Pioneers outside play is insufficient, to say the least. My 5yo complains of boredom. The classrooms are cramped trailers. They spend money on junk food "treats" for events and snack time which is twice a day instead of directing funds to a better environment and healhy snacks for the children. You can do half dsy or full day. 6am-6pm. A lot pf the parents of the preschoolers at Little Pioneers are nurses, so the children get sick A Lot!

I don't recommend. My child attended little pioneers child Development. I was ask to purchase my child a valentines basket and decorated, we did purchase a beautiful expesive basket and decorated. My child never received it, it was taken by another child. I notified the woman that owns little pioneers and she grabbed a ugliest left over valentines basket she had with a couple of leftover candy and gave it to my child , very unhappy with this situation teach children's how to steal someone else valentines basket ,items and it's OK, well it's not ok parking lot always on rainy days full of mud for this reasons I don't recommend this LPCD

My oldest went here over 10 years ago with Ms. Joy and He loved it. We moved away, and now have come back, where my two younger children now attend 3 & 5 . The teachers are awesome and I feel like my kids are cared for. My kids enjoy learning and time with their friends.
