What Parents Say
LITTLE PEOPLE DAYCARE has received highly polarized reviews. Three parents report positive experiences with friendly staff, cleanliness, and accommodating service. However, five parents describe serious concerns including alleged physical abuse of children, inadequate supervision, poor sanitation, and lack of incident reporting.
Please don’t take your kids here!! I’m begging you. The people who work here are only friendly when they see the parents of the babies and toddlers. Staff members abuse babies physically and verbally. Babies can’t speak. I saw one of the staff members slap a 2 year old, Caucasian baby boy on the forehead. Later on I found out she was on meds and had suicidal tendencies (the staff member show me the meds n told me her situation). When the children are eating they would yell like drill sergeants, I would know cause I’m a soldier. While babies and toddlers were eating they would also bang the tables with their fits and this is psychological abuse. I witness a staff member slamming a one year old, Hispanic boy against the ground cause it didn’t wanted to go sleep but they would use bedding on the floor so babies wouldn’t bruise. I tried reporting these events to the owner she said I had no evidence. I wasn’t allow to keep my phone n record. They said they would call the police on me if I said something. I quit the same week they also had staff who weren’t filling W-2 forms. They keep older kids away from babies so the older kids don’t say anything. They let babies cry for hours saying that if you comfort them is spoiling them. I’m sorry parents, I’m sorry God, I’m sorry US, I couldn’t do anything but I tried so hard. I call places no one listened. Please, the only reason I’m writing this 3 years after is because I couldn’t do anything back then but someone needs to listen. This place shouldn’t be open. Sometimes I cry at night time, I was a low-income college student back then and I used all my power to expose these monsters and it was not enough. This situation impacted me so deeply that after completing my first degree from LCCC in Sciences, I decided to continue my studies at Pennstate majoring in Social Work. They say knowledge is power and I felt powerless back then so I worked hard to be someone. This situation also inspired me to obtain military training thru the Army this way I could defend my country and in the process ease my conscience.
This place is the worst ever should be closed down. Teachers on their phones ignoring kids. Place smells and is dirty kids just running wild. They don't even do an incident report if your kid is hurt.. Do your child a favor and pay the extra 30 bucks and take them anywhere else...
My son is 17 months old and he went to this daycare for 2 days. The second day when I picked him up he had 4 bite marks on him and a black and blue elbow. This is a horrible place for toddlers.
The kids have fun here. Sometimes they don't even want to come home. The staff is very friendly. No complaints here.
All my children have been going here for years great staff. So clean and very attentive to my children
