Little People Day Nursery

Absolutely love LPDN! My daughter’s first time in school and it was a wonderful experience. Her teachers were the best. The administration always greeting you with a warm welcome when you walk in. She loved her first year and we’re excited to return again!

Enrolling my son in LPDN was one of the best decisions I made for him. The school takes security very seriously; IDs are checked at pick-up, doors are locked automatically, and lockdowns and fire drills are practiced throughout the year. The teachers and assistant teachers care about their students; they make sure everyone can learn and grow in a fun creative environment. The curriculum is a mix of traditional preschool education (letters, numbers, shapes, etc.), a monthly focus, with time to play and playground time. Teachers turn around is extremely low (almost nonexistent) which is a rarity for preschools and daycares. The director and administrative assistant are awesome as well. They go above and beyond making sure LPDN is a community; planning field trips and events throughout the year; like their literacy night that takes place during the scholastic book fair week. The school is very clean. The monthly tuition is very affordable. I cannot wait to see how LPDN grows with Cross Bridge Church. I highly recommend this school!

Little People Day Nursery was the preschool I picked for my daughter after touring many many preschools, e-mailing admins, researching, and talking to other parents. It checks all of the boxes. Small class sizes, multiple teachers per class, structured schedule, class trips, an app to keep in contact through out the year. I watched my daughter grow through the school year and become more independent and follow directions. At the end of her first year (preK-3) she can now write her name, draw her shapes, addition and subtraction, cut and glue paper, color in the lines, write every letter and number, her vocabulary is wonderfully elevated and most importantly her social skills really blossomed because of this school. We are so excited to return for prek-4! The teachers, Mrs. Slack, and Mrs. Duddy are absolutely patient and kind, the pick up and drop off set up is very safe and secure, you can get in contact with administration or teachers whenever you need. I would choose LPDN again and again.

The availability of the schools full-time care offers enough care during the day for someone who works full-time. The staff is kind. Miss Osborne, my son’s teacher is amazing. The teacher does a Home visit prior to school to review a couple things, and meet you and your child. This is a good way of meeting your child’s teacher ahead of time. They provided breakfast lunch and snack, prayer and age appropriate learning. They incorporate fun events that include the parents throughout the year. On school trip dates the school is closed so you do have to arrange your work schedule. The cost is modest and the care your child gets out of it is worth it. They do fire and safety drills to keep children safe.

My daughter absolutely loves attending Little People Day Nursery! She has learned so much since starting in September and comes home each day with new knowledge to share with us. The staff is so caring and loving and they really make my daughter feel special each day. They go above and beyond to make learning fun and meaningful. I really love how they incorporate the families into their events and allow the parents to take part in the learning process as well. I highly recommend Little People Day Nursery to anyone who is looking for a great experience for their child. You will not be disappointed.
