Ms.Alex and the staff at Little Lions Acadamy has been nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning, their responsiveness and communication has put my mind at ease. My son, who is slightly autistic, has thrived in this nurturing environment. He loves going there and I have always felt confident in the care he receives. Very thankful for finding Little Lions when we moved to San Antonio, TX. Coming from the military and having my son in a CDC since he was born was all we were use to. Mrs. D and Alex were so nurturing and loving to my two young kids. You do not find that one on one care like that anywhere else. Trust me, i know. They treated my kids like their own and i am forever grateful for that. My 2 year old daughter was sad to have her last day there due to us moving again.
My boys have been attending Little Lions Academy since the age of 3 & 6 years old. My 11 yo still attends after school care. The owner has become dear to my heart and the staff have been great. My family sees Little Lions as an extension of our family because they were there for us when we needed them the most.
Do not send your children here. As someone who just moved to the area I researched places on Better business bureau and they had great reviews. My child was there for a total of 7 days. On the first day, she cut her hair because she was not being supervised properly. I was informed by the director that it would be handled but it didn’t seem to be handled as the teacher was mean and rude to my child from then on. She would come home and express how the teachers were. The second incident my child was hit upside the head by another child with a toy he brought from home. We weren’t notified until end of day. The teacher informed us that the child is known to be aggressive and after speaking with the director I was told the child was going to be suspended because that is behavior that isn’t tolerated. My daughter told me she saw the child at school the next day. I pulled her out of the school immediately and did not send her back. I’ve been trying to get the money I preemptively paid ahead of time back but I keep getting the ring around. They don’t care about you, the child or anything but money.
Extremely unprofessional environment. They hire employees who physically abuse young children and are currently under investigation. Do not leave your children here. They will be neglected and abused. Keep your children away from “Mr.James”. Owners show no empathy or remorse. They lied about having cameras in every classroom and lied about the parents ability to access those cameras through the application. The toys in the classroom are not age appropriate. Your child will be forced to nap for 3 or more hours everyday. Probably the worst experience ever with a supposed “childcare “ center. Pulled my child after one week.
