Little Light Child Care Center

My two children love this center and enjoy learning many things from colors to numbers to even more about jesus. The director ms Tina is wonderful and as well as ms jody and ms juella. The church is also very involved in the daycare. The new pastor Ken was very professional and caring about how there daycare was doing and if we as parents were happy. I appreciate the time to check in and see how the parents feel. I recommend this facility.

I absolutely love this daycare. I have read the other reviews and they are very untrue. My 27 year old daughter went to this daycare and loved it. My granddaughter has been going to Little Light Daycare since she was 3 yrs old and is now seven. With every child, some days kids can become unruly but no teacher has ever slammed a child down, yes there is time out, but I am in total disagreement with the other reviews. If my granddaughter was in fear or anything else, she wouldn't want to go and she loves it there. Ms Tina and Ms Jodi are wonderful with the children. In fact, All of the staff have treated my granddaughter with love and respect. I would recommend this daycare 100% and have. I know my other grandchildren will attend in the future.

Absolutely horrible . MY SON DIDNT LAST A WEEK THERE!!! . One of the teachers took a little boy by his arm and slammed him in the chair and yelled shut up. I was so disturbed I said something to her about it and She explained she knows his parents they go to the church with each other I explain that’s not how you treat a child and reported her to the higher Authorities for the daycare. When I came to pick my son up one day I noticed when they feed the children they do not use gloves and they touched the children’s food. I found it to be so disgusted . It’s not a very clean place neither I wouldn’t recommend this daycare to no one ..they need to shut this place down. And another Ultimate problem with this place is they have outsiders that’s not teachers sitting in their daycare that’s not certified talking and laughing. I walked into the daycare and it was 2 people sitting in the directors office, just sitting there talking to her interrupting our conversation and all. I felt so uncomfortable. I thought that was so inappropriate. Don’t send your children here!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one !! PERIODT !!!! The director is fat & lazy she needs to help poor Megan and the rest of the teachers out. They Can you do a better job setting up a daily routine for the children instead of having them sit on the matt at the tv all day.More educational lessons. I wasted my money for that week! So very disappointed !

I would give ZERO stars if possible. They are AGGRESSIVE, ANGRY and HEARTLESS towards all the kids, they yell at them ALL THE TIME, hair pulls to get their attention, curse at them to get their "damn" shoes on, or totally ignore them. I always walked in on kids in "timeout" in a seperate room for long periods of time as if they were just forgotten about. It should be 1 minute for each year old, not 20-30+ minutes! It's near impossible to even get a Hello, or Good Morning from anyone unless you are the first to say it, even then I have still been ignored, just for them to finish their conversation and side talk instead of stop for a second to acknowledge the child and parent that just walked into their facility and deserve a warm welcome, not to be IGNORED. RUTH the director is a TOTAL HORROR, she will fool you at first to think she is okay enough to watch your child and that she is making "improvements" to the daycare since she is the newer director, but in time you will see this just is NOT true. She talks herself up but just sits on her lazy butt ALL DAY LONG and yells at the kids. I was sadened to hear that when my son asked Ruth if she liked his shoes, she said, "No, they are OLD! Who the hell says that to anyone, let alone a little child excited about their shoes. He was so sad about it that he rushed to tell me when I saw him. It BROKE my heart and his. They are dream crushers here, they will not build up your child. Only crush their inner light. My son has not been the same since this place. He still talks about all of his bad days there and tells me that he thinks Ms. RUTH and Ms.Megan should be fired. We are both very much still traumatized from the whole experience. I reported them to child care enforcement and the police. I woke up today in a pool of sweat after a bad dream of this place, which inspired me to finally share our story on here so other parents don't bring their kids here! My final straw there was walking in on the DIRECTOR RUTH SHOVING FOOD IN A LITTLE BOYS MOUTH as he was crying hysterically and GAGGING! Yelling at him to eat his food and that nobody wants to clean up throwup! It was a cold grilled cheese... who would want to eat that in the morning or anytime!? I was horrified, and told her that she needed to stop immediately and not treat him or any child that way. She began to tell me this is "normal" for him and that his dad knew. There is NO WAY anyone would let their children get treated this way ever! I told her I do not believe that, and even if that was true, she should have been prepared with a trash can and a better attitude! Not yelling at the poor kid and choking him with his food! This is NOT the daycare "learning" center you should bring your child to. In time you will see their true colors. I promise you. Megan is a mini version of Ruth, just as rude but I don't think as aggressive. She would yell at my kid as he was washing his hands! To "get out of the bathroom" instead of helping him finish up washing his hands! I'm so beyond upset that a place like this hasn't been shut down yet! DO NOT GO HERE! TELL EVERYONE!
