Little Life Academy

I went to church yesterday, December 21, 2025 and have never been so moved in a church service other than when I accepted the Lord when I was a child. I'm 65 years old and at the end of the service the lights were turned off and the pastor asked everyone to help each other light a candle starting from the front of the church and working all the way to the rear, people helping people what a symbolic gesture. Then a beautiful Christmas hymn begin to play from the stage on a beautiful piano, everyone lifted their candles up toward the Lord with the house lights out those thousand of little flickering lights presented to God was incredible, I just felt a wave of peace and goodness come over me and what it feels like to be around incredible people who love God! It was such a far cry from all this social media look at me stuff, it just felt like pure goodness never quite experienced anything like that, you guys did it a great job with that New Life! I've shared this with several people since it happened it was very moving for me.

Went to Jonesboro to visit with my daughter and granddaughter. Daughter invited me to the Halloween party. Was lots of fun. Met the pastor who's a great guy. The atmosphere was loving and everyone had a great time.

This church is BIG but also small. We haven’t gotten connected with a small group yet (about to change that) but they have so many for all ages and stages of life. College, new parents, parents with teens, young parents with kids, empty nesters, people who just want to know God, I mean the list goes on. And the staff really does care. Today, one of the staff members on the production team really exemplified Matthew 22:39 (love your neighbor as you love yourself) and Matthew 25:37 (when did we feed You?) when he blessed my family with a full tank of gas. We’ve been blessed by some of the members here who have become great friends of ours. The kids ministries are so amazing and my oldest is so excited to serve anytime he has an opportunity to. Here, they have a church building where people can learn, but everyone I have met here tries to be the church too. Thank you New Life for being a blessing. You’ve been the best part of us moving to Maumelle.

My wife and I visited this church several times and are now considering getting ‘plugged in’. This a true, spiritually anointed ministry. Our impression is that we will grow here to the point of being able to reach those in need of Jesus Christ and help others to grow in Him as well. The praise and worship band, pastor & pastors, ministries and staff are all great, friendly followers of Christ. Try it, you’ll love it and be loved!

Felt so great to be back in this building after moving out of state for 4 years. Pastor Marcus and Brook nailed the Mid Week Parenting class. Can't wait for the next one.
