I enrolled my 8 month old daughter there in June 2018. It's October 2018 and will be taking her out ASAP. You get what you pay for. The daycare was sited in 2018 that their teachers had no documented annual training! which means that they don't know how to give proper first aid! or how to properly administer medication to children/infants! MY LAST STRAW** I picked up my daughter and she was covered in HIVES!!!! for the 8 hours she was there no phone call was ever made to me. When I picked her up I immediately noticed the hives on her face, arms, legs and neck. I mentioned it to the administrator and she said my daughter seemed fine the whole day brushed it off like nothing. I mentioned it to her teacher and the teacher said "I thought they were mosquito bites" I took her to the emergency immediately and they put her on medicine! I had her doctor on call too throughout the night!! I called the administrator while my child is being looked at by the doctor and not once did she say sorry or we dropped the ball, it won't happen again, nothing! She was more annoyed that I called her about it! How many times have you heard stories about babies being hurt or worse!! This is the daycare you don't want your child in! this makes me question their credibility on taking care of a child! If they can't differentiate a mosquito bite from a hive. I'm just thankful my child is alive at this point! BELOW IS WHAT I HAVE OBSEREVED IN THE INFANT ROOM! 1. The front door is never locked even if the administrator is not at her desk; I walked in at 1pm and 2pm and walked in freely no one was at the front. DOOR IS NEVER LOCKED! 2. In the infant room they don't wear anything to protect their dirty shoes. The small babies crawl on the floor, I picked up my daughter and I saw her crawling on their dirty floor and her pacifier clip dragging behind her, she sat up and picked up her pacifier from the floor and put it in her mouth. 3. Every few months or so there is a new teacher and the day care won't update you on the new face that will be caring for your child. You just walk up to the class room and see a new face without knowing their name, there is no introduction and I also have to mention that most of the new teachers don't speak a word of English. 4. I picked up my daughter and I noticed that a inconsolable crying baby was in the swing with my daughters pacifier in her mouth. my daughter has everything labeled. That baby never has a pacifier that I saw in the months going there, they just gave her my pacifier to try to keep her from crying. Might as well share my daughters bottle while you're at it. 5. They claim to change your baby diaper every hour but they don't. They also claim to put diaper cream on with each diaper change, but they don't. My daughter had countless diaper rashes that I have to take care of during the weekend. It gets better, and Monday comes and she's back with a diaper rash. The only good thing I have to say about that daycare is Miss Lisa. You can tell she truly loves kids. She takes care of them like they're her own. Unfortunately she isn't in the infant class but in the 3-4 year old class. But my daughter gets to spend time with her in the morning when I drop her off at 6:30 am. ALL OTHER ROOMS DONT OPEN UNTIL 7AM. So every child no matter their age is put with Miss Lisa in the morning! You can forget the 1 teacher to 3 kids' ratio because that doesn't exist in the morning and who knows their ratio throughout the day. In the few months of my kids going there the countless questions I've had but I always told myself that I am over reacting, as a mom you're putting your trust in these people to watch over your child day to day. That trust is lost completely and I'm actively looking for a better daycare as we speak.
We love this school. Most places where parent take young children are called "Daycare" This place is far more than just Daycare. My wife and I are both teachers. Our son Robert went to pre-K there a couple years ago and they did a phenomenal job with him. He learned both academic skills and behavioral skills that's helped him out greatly now through second grade. The teachers there have all been there for quite number of years because the owner treats and pays them properly. They put up their phones when they first come in and don't use them through the day. All of their attention is focused on their students. We now send our 10 month old baby boy there. If not for this place my wife would've stayed home for the year. Our son loves going there where they have stations that they learn to interact, walk, and practice motor skills. Little Learners is a school where learning truly happens for all ages. The lady who runs the place is in retired principal with extremely high standards. In our opinion you can't beat this place especially for what they're charging. We highly recommend!
Great daycare! My daughter will be prepared to go to school in August due to her teacher Ms. Lisa. Open till 6:30 and are very reliable. Will recommend to anyone 😍❤️😍❤️
PLEASE READ! The administrator here is very rude and condescending. Even when I first came to tour the facility before enrolling, she looked at me like I was stupid the whole time. Once my son was crying and sitting at a table with the other kids and they were all making fun of him and calling him a baby and the teachers did not even notice or care enough to separate him. I told the administrator and she said "and?" then once again looked at me like I'm an idiot. ALSO THE TEACHERS DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!! NOT EVEN A LITTLE AND WILL BE RUDE TO YOU IF THERE IS A COMMUNICATION BARRIER BECAUSE OF IT. These people are rude and negligent.
Has the management & personnel changed for 2020? Very long detailed bad reviews. Have a 3 month old & 2 year old that we adore. So trying to find a Loving, Kind Daycare !
