What Parents Say
Little Hugs Childcare is highly regarded by parents for its caring, hands-on approach and child development focus. The owner Marci and her stable staff team are consistently praised for treating children with genuine love and going above and beyond in their care. Parents report strong academic progress, excellent cleanliness, and smooth transitions in areas like potty training.
Been going here since our first son who is now 5 and now with our daughter who is one. The reasons we initially chose little hugs was because of proximity, price, and a smaller daycare that could attend to our sons needs more than a commercial daycare. What we didn’t expect is the absolute love and dedication to our children that I would now trust no other daycare with my kids. As full time working parents, We knew the best thing for them was also being around people that could teach and guide them in ways we fell short and boy did has Marci and her team Exceeded our expectations. Through every challenge and change, they not only guide our kids but guide us. And take the time to truly lead with love and understanding. After a rough morning with my son, Marci took the time today to pull him aside and guide him through his feelings. This is one of many examples over the years but was this moment that reminded me that they deserve to always be recognized for their hard work and dedication to their extended families
Our daughter attended Little Hugs from 12 weeks old to when she went to kindergarten. She was so loved by the staff and they did wonders to help her learn and grow. She was potty trained at 2 no problem thanks to them, and was reading site words and adding numbers by the time she finished preschool. We will forever be grateful for her time at Little Hugs!
This childcare is absolutely amazing! When we moved to the area, I was initially anxious about leaving my child in someone else's care. After exploring all the daycares in the area, I'm so happy we chose Little Hugs. Here's why: 1- The teachers have been here for years, indicating their happiness and dedication. Some even have their own children enrolled, reflecting their trustworthiness. 2- Among all the daycares we visited, this one stood out as the cleanest. 3- Marci, the owner/director, is present all day and easily accessible. 4- There were no red flags, thanks to a comprehensive checklist I had from a friend experienced in daycare management. Now that we're part of the Little Hugs family, we're happy for these reasons: 1- Our son absolutely loves it there. Some days he's reluctant to leave and eagerly anticipates going in each day. 2- He's learning and growing daily. Even starting at 9 months old, we noticed he was picking up new words and started walking around 11 months (with their help of course, they were sending me videos everyday teaching him how to walk). 3- Marci is always present, actively engaging with the kids. Her dedication is astounding, and she's not only taught my son a lot but also guided me as a first-time mom. Her availability, even after hours, is impressive. She is one of the most hard working people I know! 4- The staff is warm and treats my child as their own. Every day, he comes home clean. Never came home with a dirty diaper. There are so many other reasons that make Little Hugs truly exceptional. I can not imagine leaving my son anywhere else or trusting anyone with him as much as Little Hugs.
The whole Little Hugs team gone above and beyond to make my children feel welcomed and loved. My 3 year old didn't like his schools he went to previously and would cry and tell me all the things he didn't like. This is the only place where he's told me how he likes school, the activities they do, the teachers, his friends. Other things I've noticed: -The teacher turnover rate is so low- they all seem happy - The kids come home clean! Clean hands, clean faces. This is something i really appreciate - My 3 year old has also some special dietary stuff we are trying to figure out, and the staff has been accommodating to it as well - My kids have been learning math, letters, etc. - They helped potty train my 2 year old. They made the transition a breeze! - The team truly cares about your children
We truly love this place! Our 3 year old has so much fun and is always talking about the fun things that he and his teacher did together. They have parties for every holiday and invite parents to participate. Marci and her staff are very hands on and seem to truly love every kid there. Communication is great. They were key in potty training our son. My 3 year old can count to 20 and recognize all of those numbers. He is learning days of the week and months of the year. He is encouraged to read and to play. It's such a great classroom experience for him. We love our little hugs family!
