Little Hands Daycare INC

We lived close to a Montessori Mandarin preschool but opted to send our children to Little Hands after touring both schools. Though the first few weeks were an adjustment (yes, there were tears but for us and knowing our boys this was normal), both of my boys (twins age 3 at the time) have flourished beautifully. It is very much a family atmosphere, and you can feel the love the for the children. I am beyond overjoyed to say that my children sing mandarin songs at home, seem to understand the teacher, and always look forward to going to school. We speak Spanish at home, and at school, they are learning to speak English better and acquiring Mandarin. There is no greater gift than language, and I am so happy that we came across Little Hands. They garden, play, sing, do plenty of crafts, are well fed by an onsite chef and provide breakfast and lunch (included in tuition) have a glorious 2 hour nap time. They apply Montessori principles of independence, hygiene, and behavior all of which can be seen at home. They also clean around the clock, so our kids are less sick than they used to be. We are lucky that we came across this little gem, and have no complaints aside from the fact we wish you were closer :) Thank you for loving and teaching our children!

My boy has been in Little Hands for more than a year and I have only good things to say about the preschool. Not only did he progress well in his mandarin, he also enjoys his weekly Spanish lesson very much. He always comes home and tells me about the yummy food he had in school. He has not missed a single day of school due to illness, which speaks a lot about the high level of hygiene. I can’t thank Ms Terri and the teachers enough for all the hard work they have put in. Highly recommend!

We have been in this school for about a year. My DS loves his teachers and his classmates. When he met his teachers outside of the school, he always opens up his arms and hugs them. Another amazing thing is his Panda classroom teacher speaks English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, so he is immersed in a multi-language environment. He speaks simple Spanish and count numbers in Spanish too. He switches among the three languages so naturally, that we are used to use many languages at home too. I like how clean and fresh the school is when I walk in everyday. I think the school is doing an amazing job keep its environment clean, healthy, and safe for kids and every one. Will totally recommend Little Hands to my family and friends.

"Small school…BIG family!" sums up the spirit of this top notch preschool. I've found the teachers to be attentive, caring, tenured and well-rounded. They play a huge role to create a safe and nurturing environment for the kids. I am grateful for all the hard work put in by the director, teachers and chef to provide fun learning experiences in a clean facility. The owner, Ms. Terri, is dedicated to the well- being and learning advancement of the children. Her openness to feedback from the parents is unparalleled and she goes above and beyond to share what the kids are exploring at school. I've especially enjoyed the many special events that the school organizes to help get to know the teachers and other parents better. Before Little hands, I picked a reputable school nearby after touring many preschool options. But what transpired on the trial day at that school made me uncomfortable so we chose to enroll in Little Hand despite the longer commute. My oldest started at 20 months without speaking and was bilingual by age 2. We are happy to be part of the Little Hands family.

When I first brought my daughter here over two years ago I was apprehensive about putting her into someone else's care. I couldn't be happier with choosing Little Hands. In the time my daughter has been at Little Hands she has overcome her shyness, made amazing friends, is teaching me Chinese, and feels confident in herself. The staff here is amazing and genuine in caring for all the kids and making sure they are ready for kindergarten and beyond. I couldn't be happier with my choice and could go on and on about how amazing this place is! Thank you Little Hands.
