Little Frogs & Polliwogs Learning Center

We enrolled our daughter September of this year. She had never been in any social setting without us. It took her about 2 months to fully adjust but she is THRIVING! Her teachers Ms Lauren and Ms Halima have been so patient with her and so supportive and caring. She is excelling in soany areas we did not expect and we are so grateful. This daycare is the best thing that could have happened to our daughter. She is so happy there, she is a love bug to everyone there and it is very obvious how much the staff care about her! We love LFP and can't wait to see what is in store for next year!

Now that my child is no longer attending, I can relay my honest review. I’ve had good and bad experiences with this daycare. - One thing for certain I can say, the director Geri, doesn’t care about any of the children. Money is the first and last thing on her mind. -I’ve witnessed teachers yell at children (one of whom was fired for being intoxicated on the job), hit children in the head with bouncy balls, etc. - They have no curriculum. My son would be learning how to wash and clothe baby dolls. Be outside in freezing cold weather, come inside with wet clothing and be sitting in it, even when he had an extra change of clothes. - I’ve walked in on teachers being on their phones, not paying attention to the children, and couldn’t account for a lot of the things I was being told by my son about his day. Overall, I’d tell you to look elsewhere. There are better places to send your children.

I just want to thank Little Frogs & Polliwogs Learning Center! This is a wonderful place! Leaving my baby girl was the hardest thing I have ever had to do! But they made it a little bit easier by taking such good care of my little girl. She was always happy going in every morning to play! I would personally like to thank her teachers Ms. Liz and Ms. Sabrina, she loves you guys! Caviar classroom is very well managed. It has been over a year since my child attended little frogs and polliwogs and my heart still aches each time I drive by this day care. I truly believe I did my child wrong by sending my child here. The day care has an extremely high turnover rate. Each class should have a teacher and a teacher’s assistant but you will often find only one teacher assistant in a class, and the so-called teacher is nowhere to be found. Kids walk around aimlessly in the class each day because aside from the few minutes of circle time in the morning, there are no curriculum for the toddler class. Till today, I remember the sadness on my child’s face at drop off. At first I thought it was because of a new environment but it wasn’t until we found the right day care to know that it was just a bad school, and teachers/faculties did not truly care about your child’s well-being. It was unfortunate to find that when we told the director that we were withdrawing from the center, she did not even bother saying bye. If you are looking for a day care to make sure your child is alive, this would be it. But look elsewhere if you want your kid to actually learn and be happy while you are not by their side.

We have had our son there since he was 14 months old. Consistently I have been impressed with their monthly/quarterly progress reports as well as their "education based" daycare model. The teachers he has had have been loving, caring and communicative with us on every milestone and goal for our son and the classroom. Becca, the Director, is so lovely, caring and attentive. Every teacher knows EVERY students name - always saying hello when we pass in the hallways. We are so happy with LFP and recommend it wholeheartedly.
