Little Friends Early Learning Center

Both of my children have been fortunate enough to spend time at Little Friends Early Learning Center. My son is now in elementary school and only attends on snow days or teacher in service days. My daughter still attends pre-K here. I will second the previous posters opinion of the past director, she was challenging to say the least. The person the previous poster is referring to is no longer working at the center. All of the other teachers have huge hearts and you can tell they truly care about your child. The center takes a very hands on approach to learning. My daughter has attended field trips to the Space Center, Apple Orchard and movie theater. Her class has had visitors from wildlife encounters, fire fighters and other experts in various fields. Over the summer an arranged ice cream truck stopped by every couple of weeks. My daughter loves pizza Friday. Lastly, Little Friends offers once a month Parents Night Out for a very reasonable cost. As a single mom I look forward to this night, my children would tell you they look forward to it as well. Each parents night out runs from 5p-10p, kids play, do a craft, make their own dinner and at the end of the evening the center is turned into a movie theater and the kiddos typically fall asleep until you arrive. We have tried a couple of other centers. Little Friends has been by far the best choice for our family.

Wonderful Staff. I really appreciate that it’s a small family daycare. We tried another larger daycare in the area and it seemed like we were more of a payment they wanted weekly then a family they cared about. Nancy is there almost everyday I pick up. She’s always actively engaged with the children, which I’ve never seen a daycare director do prior. All of the teachers are really kind and helpful. Any issue or concern I’ve had was met with active listening and a great timely response. They do fun activities often like picnics outside, BBQs, PJ/Movie day and cute things like that. They also don’t ask the parents to supply everything for the events, which was also a new concept to us. Alex in the infant room is truly a treasure. She’s always doing new homemade sensory activities with the babies. I’ve come in on numerous occasions to find her on the floor playing with the babies or laying next to them rubbing their bellies if they are having gas issues. She’s absolutely wonderful and my daughter adores her, what more could a mother ask for? Oh and they have pizza Friday each week for 3$, and the kids get juice and other snacks with it. It’s something the kids can look forward to at the end of the week :) All in All if your looking for kind loving people to watch your children while you can’t, this is a fantastic option!

I'm truly sorry that I had to take my daughter out of daycare at Little Friends. The owners, Nancy and Maria, and the 3-5 year old teacher Delaney are wonderful. I loved that they treated us more like family than clients. The reason we made the decision to leave Little Friends was because of the Director / 2 year old Teacher. I have recently found out that she is no longer working there, so I am editing my review. I would highly recommend Little Friends.

I love Nancy the owner, she is fabulous! The staff is nothing shy of fabulous too. They are great with kids and do so many fun activities, they are so kind, understanding and helpful. The facility is clean, secure, bright and happy. My daughter has been there for years. They are not a convenient drive but I keep her there because I just love the staff, building and kids so much. I highly recommend this Center.

Absolutely Amazing g!!! My son is always so excited to go to school! He is such a Mama's boy and never wants to be away from me but everyone at Little Friends has made him feel so welcome and part of the place that he now doesn't even notice when I leave. He has made so many friends and is LOVING every minute!
