We absolutely love bringing our daughter to Little Friends. The new owner, Melissa, runs an amazing program and is so kind and approachable. The teachers are wonderful and our daughter is always bringing home so many cute art projects.
My daughter attended "Little Friends" for 2 years. During this time she was happy and excited to go to school every day. The director is amazing, always available to check in with and get honest information about the care of your child as well as what is going on at the center. She experienced both the toddler room and the preschool. Teachers in both rooms were also accommodating to the needs of the children while allowing them to learn from experience and lessons. Sadly we had to leave Little Friends due to a job change, we continue to stop by and visit our little friends and the staff.
Little Friends daycare has been heaven sent for our family! When we moved to town we had to remove our youngest from her beloved home daycare provider and we were certain we would never find anything like her. We were so wrong! Our daughter has loved her time at Little Friends and we never had to drag her kicking and screaming. In fact, she would race up the front walk eager to see her friends and teachers. Betsy and all the teachers are attentive and loving to all the kids. We can’t recommend them highly enough!
My child attended little friends child care for a year and a half. Everything was good until my child needed a little more one on one due to concerns that the owner brought up. At this time she wouldn't allow the help to come in an evaluate my child. Argued that she was doing everything to help him, she was indeed not due to resisting EI services coming in to help. She then kicked my child out and never followed up with speaking with our EI worker. Betsey has been super unprofessional. Constantly rude and targeting my child. Not dealing with toddler behavior in an appropriate way and in no way trying to help his behaviors that she had complaints in regards to. She constantly was bringing up his behaviors but never able to tell me where random marks on his body were coming from. I absolutely do not recommend this child care center.
The reassurance that comes with having reliable child care can only be described as an immense gift and we have found this at Little Friends. Our children are provided with an enjoyable, safe, educational and encouraging environment where they are learning about themselves, their peers and the world that continues to broaden around them. The teachers are compassionate and consistently support the development of the kids’ independence, which naturally results in their growing self-confidence. It is without hesitation that we recommend Little Friends to families in search of comprehensive child care.
