I'm a new Mom and we have been coming for 16 months. Amanda is strict to keep my child safe. It was a rocky adjustment but we wouldn't have it any other way. During the adoption process for 6 months, CPS, the ad litem attorney and also early childhood intervention staff would go by the learning center. Many times it was unannounced. These are professionals who evaluate numerous learning centers. They unanimously said it was a fabulous place for a child! The baby is excited to arrive and comes out glowing at the end of the day. Amanda goes above and beyond to celebrate Christmas, Easter, Harvest, and is having a mini donkey come for Western Day! I always have photos, keepsakes and something my toddler made to share with Pa Pa for Father's Day, when my Mom was in the hospital, on Valentine's Day she blessed many people with her artwork. It made them all smile. We are here until she ages out. When Amanda and I butt heads, we both work to resolve the issue and improve our communication. Just like any relationship, it takes two people to encourage one another and extend grace.

I would not recommend. My son attended for a year, and we had several issues with the owner. She was very manipulative and lacked empathy anytime we had a disagreement or concern. She would also gaslight me and I caught her gaslighting my son, She had an excuse for everything, or guilt tripped me on the rest. Several parents have recently spoken up about the same issues we were having, and it validates the experience I had. She never gave me updates on how my child was doing, until I made a big deal about not being notified after 3 events of another child hitting my child. Never gave us a menu regardless of how many times I asked, parents aren’t really allowed to walk past the front door, very little activities for the kids to do and he almost never came home with artwork until I said something to Amanda about it, shuts down often, and with little notice. Rarely took the kids outside, and it was very rare that they actually had pizza day on Fridays, and most of the summer they did not do the water day activity either. My son complained that they never had anything to drink, and just played with the same toys every day, and never did anything most days. He was always grouped with kids way younger than him. I felt like she would immediately call and attack me anytime I had an issue or question. She doesn’t follow her own policies, and I was never given a handbook until she got in trouble with State. I heard she got in trouble for not having proper teacher to student ratio along other issues. She sends kids home for the smallest things. She kept changing pricing on me. Her and I did not get along anymore because I kept questioning her on policies and issues surrounding my son. Anytime we had an argument my son magically had behavioral issues that I was never told about before, and have never had those issues with him anywhere else. When I defended my son she said she doesn’t call parents every time I kid misbehaves, etc, and then tried to make me feel bad about it. I feel like she pushed us out because of it. That and it sounds like she only wants kids that don’t attend school to attend her center now. Recently it’s come to light that she is not feeding the kids enough food, there’s barely food in the center for the kids, and what she does provide is not nutritional at all. This is not a learning center it’s a poorly ran daycare. The girls that work there have always been sweet though.

Absolutely LOVE this daycare. We have 3 daycares in our town but travel 30 minutes to take our son here. He loves the teachers and is always excited to see them Monday after being gone all weekend. One of my favorite things about Amanda’s are the events and how they genuinely care about your child’s experience.

We did not have a good experience at this center. The owner is very unprofessional mistreats her employees and does not provide proper care, or follow state guidelines.
