My kids love this daycare and preschool! After having gone to 2 other daycares and preschools in town and having worked at one, hands down this is the best! Staff is gentle, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and the kids are more than just dollar signs to them! I have yet to walk in and find a staff member dragging my kid by the arm, which I had at another center in town. Neither of my kids have been sent home with bite marks, or bruises, or stories of being touched inappropriately by other students which happened at both other daycares they’d been to in town! We feel safe and most importantly respected here.
This review is strictly about their school pick up bus, after observing this bus for the past 6 months of school, I have come to conclude that this bus picks up kids at more than just one elementary school. I think this is awesome of a day care to offer this. He’s usually arriving at the school I am at, right after me at the end of the very long, slow moving pick up line. I’ve never noticed any issues until today. He decided he was done waiting, and proceeded to try and cut off multiple cars. As he was trying to go around a couple of us, the line started to move along too. So he decided it would be the best idea to turn right in front of my moving car, thankfully and OBVIOUSLY I was paying attention and stopped. Okay big deal right? No not huge. But not even a wave of a thank you for letting him back in. It’s just common courtesy. If he is willing to behave this way because he has more stops... THINK about the way he could be driving to get to his next location, out on the fast moving highway he has to then be on. With unrestrained children. (I’m assuming there’s no seat belts because I saw a student standing up, while waiting to pick up the other students) I called little doodas and spoke with,.. assistant director? And explained what had happened, she didn’t immediately apologize , but told me that there’s a time crunch so kids don’t have to go back in to call their parents. Which of course I COMPLETELY understand. BUT safety first. Above all.
I just love it
