What Parents Say
Little Angels Playground Daycare Center receives mostly positive reviews from long-term families who praise its affordability, structured curriculum, and safety measures. However, a small number of parents reported cleanliness concerns and negative staff interactions with their children.
My kids have gone to Little Angels for about 4 years, and we have been more than happy with this daycare! Our children bring home crafts almost everyday and they do preschool activities as well. My son has a food allergy and they have been very accommodating. There are security cameras in every classroom and we are confident in our children's safety here. Also very affordable!
We have had one daughter at Little Angels for 3 years and we just started our second daughter there. There are some caveats compared to smaller at-home daycare providers (i.e. no pacifiers, not a lot of help with potty training, no bottles) simply because there are too many children to manage to expect a lot of one-on-one help. Both of my girls got to a pretty self-sufficient stage early (walking well, using utensils & communicating for example, and the older one potty trained at home pretty easily), so they have had a wonderful experience at Little Angels. They also have been able to form good bonds with the staff, although there is a good amount of turnover. In 3 years we have only experienced one 'issue' with another child who was a biter, but they took care of this with notification and shortly after, having the biter leave. Some children might need a little extra time or help with certain things, and they might not do great here, but my girls certainly have.
I have had an unpleasant experience at this day care along with my daughter at the time was 2 years old. The minute we got to the daycare she was always clenching on to my leg because she was terrified to be left there. She started crying immediately as we drove up to the building. And my daughter has never acted like that in anyway and I knew it wasn't because she was at a new place. Its because they were treating her horrible. And one day I confronted the owner and she claimed my daughter was in no harm. But my daughter was not comfortable at all there. The staff was not welcoming or friendly. I then one day went to pick up my daughter and the teacher grabbed her by the arm. And after that day we went else were and my daughter was so happy to be else were i can assure you. If your child is showing any sign that they are not happy or something is going on trust your instincts.
My 11yo and 9 yo daughters went to Little Angels Playground Daycare when they were both toddlers and stayed there through their pre-school years. I now have a 2.5yo daughter who also attends there. Not only is the daycare center much more affordable than any in-house daycare I've taken my youngest to previously, but they are more structured. They have times set aside for outside play, inside play, reading, nap, snacks, lunch and they actually learn things!
The training there is a complete joke they just let you lose with 10 or so kids at a time and basically say good luck hope you can handle this. The food is discussing either expired, taste like medicine. The place needs a cleaning, the owner is so heartless she leaves the building as she pleases while the rest of us is stuck there with no breaks not even during nap we still have work to do. I would never recommend this place to anyone not a place to work or for childcare. The whole building is a joke, The pay is an absolute joke, It's not enough to pay for anything especially when people have rent or bills to pay. So if you are looking for a job I would suggest someone else.
