My family joined LALC last year in the summer. I thought I was just going to sign my son up for the upcoming year, and found out they had a summer program so he stayed for that and my daughter later joined also. The kids very much enjoyed it. This isn't just a daycare. It feels like family. Teachers communicate clearly, they have engaging events and meetings for parents and the whole family. And they have plenty of announcements and flyers for community events or resources you may need.
To be honest, I drive past this daycare and I needed a daycare so bad because my kids kept getting sent home and I was having to leave work early to get them which was so overwhelming. I was having so many issues. They took me in and they are such beautiful people. They care about our impoverished communities and families who have not had certain opportunities as others. They help with self care for parents, have other behavioral health associations come in and teach parents. They give back to the community and I am so in love with how my children have developed relationships and bonds with these people. They have different events that many of us have not been able to be involved in. Im so grateful because they truly inspire and have a huge impact on my whole families lives !
