What Parents Say
Little Angels Learning Center Academy has received mixed reviews. Positive reviewers praise the welcoming staff, play-based learning approach, outdoor activities, and family-friendly atmosphere. However, negative reviews cite serious concerns including state licensing violations, closure by regulators in fall 2025, unprofessional conduct, and alleged inappropriate workplace behavior.
I hate doing this, but this is a warning to other parents in case this center is still trying to pretend they are open. I had my son here for 2.5 years and things seemed fine at first. Then L&I shut them down for two days in summer 2025 and the gave us now explanation and less than 24 hours notice. I knew something was up when the mysteriously closed their preschool and most of the kids were just gone at the end of 2023. Turns out they didn’t have a valid license. They were closed permanently by the state in fall 2025, two weeks after I luckily found a new center for my son. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing all around. They need to take their website and hours down to stop pretending they are a legitimate daycare.
Our family loves Little Angels. The atmosphere is casual, yet conducive to learning and developing relationships with teachers, other students, and other families. Our daughter attended Little Angels from 3 months-2 years old and we were so sad to leave there because we moved out of state. The staff is welcoming, energetic, and loving. We have met many family friends through the center as well and with no immediate familiy in the area the teachers became our 2nd family. The children go outside almost everyday to local parks or the back yard play area and are encouraged to learn through play. Hours and price point were right on par with our budget adding even more value to the care our daughter received. It is low tech so there is no streaming video of the classrooms, but they provide daily activity reports and the teachers are willing to answer questions parents may have. The events put on by the center for parents are top notch as well! We are sad to leave and will continue to recommend families consider enrolling at Little Angels in Philadelphia.
Don't listen to the chic that gave the place a 1 star. She don't know what the heck she's talking about. Little Angels is a pretty narley daycare. My co workers treat each other like family. We shower the kids with nothing but love and care. And when the heck did she ever came into the day care catching us dancing and listening to innappropiate music?? Okay, yeah, some of the songs we play aren't really for kids, but we make sure the songs doesn't have any bad words in it before we play it. But overall, Little Angels is truly a great place for your child to be. Heck, we no Chuck E Cheese, but it's still a great place. We do lots of fun things like go on trips once a month, every week we have different themes, for example: Last week was ocean animal week(I wish they would hurry up and have sweet treats week, though lol). We even do fun things outside like water play and Carnival. I'm not sure if other day cares do these kinds of things, but I know for a fact that we do. Trust me, send your child to Little Angels. Apply to work at Little Angels. You won't regret a thing.
I've seen my share of Day Cares, and Little Angels Learning Academy is one of the best. Teachers are experienced and efficient, children are taught manners and good behavior. These life skills will take them far.
I wouldn't even give then a star...I rather give then half of one for the people who actually do their job...I wouldn't recommend anyone for this daycare...my daughter was 2 getting potty trained at home and they would take her to the bathroom ...they would change her on a changing table...they don't do anything educational with the children...I walked in a couple times and the teacher were dancing and listening to inappropriate music..I had one coworkers that work there take my daughter's information and texted my fiance VERY inappropriate messages...my daughter's teacher couldn't speak English..and the director is racist...too many negatives with this place
