I have bad experiences with child care centers, but my kiddos have been going to Linwood over a little of a year now and we really like the center. I highly recommend checking them out!

My babies love this daycare. It always smells and appears clean and the staff is friendly. My son (1 year old) smiles so big when I hand him to his teacher. It makes me feel more comfortable having to leave them everyday to go to work knowing they are happy and loved!

My little one started at Linwood at 8 weeks and was there past 3 years until he started special education services at our local elementary school. If Linwood had been in our school district, we would have kept him there so he could have been transported to and from school. When the childcare center in our school district that we enrolled him in "kicked him out" due to some of his mild behaviors related to autism, Linwood welcomed him back with open arms that summer until we could find somewhere with more of the specialized therapy/care our little one was starting to need. Other than a little bit of teacher turnover when he was in his 2-year-old class, he really adapted well to all his teachers. He formed a special bond with his 2 to 3-year-old teacher, Ms. Shae. We still stay in touch. The staff truly cared about Baylor, were always very friendly to me, and helped accommodate some of his unique behaviors. I always felt good about him being there while I was at work.

I could not have chosen a more perfect place for my children. I enrolled my youngest in January, after nearly 4 years of having my mother watch our children. I was nervous to entrust the safety and well being of my kids to others, that I technically do not know. I’m a full time working mom with two kiddos, who’s been used to having grandma watch after them. My youngest loves going there! When she doesn’t notice me walk in immediately, I sometimes stand back and watch her do her thing. She always has a big smile on her face. During pickup, she typically does not want to leave. My oldest will be attending during summer break. Every person there has always been incredibly kind, informative and trusting. One of the employees there is magic, and has gotten her to sit through actual hair-do’s. Sometimes, she doesn’t even let me brush her hair! So major props to them!! I was the same way as a child 😅 lol … In the time she’s been here, I have never felt concerned for her safety. Her happy go lucky self has not changed one bit! I’m truly thankful for them!

Our son has been going here for about a year, starting when he was 7 months old. Prior to enrolling at Linwood, we did the whole year-long wait list to enroll in a "fancy" daycare; but after a couple months, it was clearly not a good fit for our little guy. He was miserable. Fortunately Linwood had an opening and we were able to switch quickly. From the start at Linwood, he was a much happier baby and has grown to enjoy being with all of the teachers/staff. The day has a good balance between open play and scheduled events (like meals and nap time) and the teachers/staff do a great job creating a safe and happy environment while also teaching new skills. The procedural changes due to the pandemic - no longer being able to drop-off/pick-up at the classroom - have been harder for me than my son as I appreciated the quick interaction with the teacher(s). Our son has been un-phased for the most part by the change. Overall it has been a very good experience and we are happy - most importantly, our son is happy.
