Great band at 10:00 and Pastor that gives wonderful messages. Nursery for pre-K kids, Sunday school for K and K-5 during the 10:00 Service. Friendly atmosphere with a good number of kids in attendance. Oldest child graduated from the Nursery school and is excelling in Elementary school. We really enjoy this Church and the family is has become.
This church has become my family over the years. The deep relationships that I’ve developed there, the way the ministry team has nurtured and grown my faith, and the way this church family has stood beside me through some very dark days has been such a source of joy and comfort. I want to share with you WHY I love Linglestown Life United Methodist Church (LLUMC). First and foremost this is one of the most “welcoming” churches I’ve attended in my lifetime. This church completes everything I want off my checklist for reasons I go to church. I love the socialization and close community feel I get when attending. I love the sermons (this is important)! I’ve been to churches where the people are friendly, lovely music, etc. but I am not being “fed” a sermon that truly makes me think. Pastor George is that kind of Pastor. His sermons are relevant to the times and what is going on in YOUR life. I am amazed that I can say every sermon…let me emphasize that EVERY sermon is a good sermon and some of them, quite frankly are phenomenal. The music is another HUGE thing for me and Matt Estep, our Choir and Worship Team Director, is amazing. He loves music, people, and putting on the most outstanding Cantatas each and every year (2020 not included) LLUMC also has a Rockville Campus and Pastor Taylor Pfaff is equally amazing. Taylor is young, vibrant, and so in tune with our times right now. I end up attending the Linglestown campus typically, but either one you choose, would be a good decision. Check out ALL we have to offer, such as, Online Services, Podcasts, worship in-house (when permitted due to COVID), small groups, etc. We all could use a little bit of comfort and care these days – please join me!
Linglestown Life is a family! Great people coming together to Love God and Love Others! Excellent music groups, family atmosphere, great children and youth programs. Highly recommend.
