Lilypad Nursery & Preschool

Our family loves Lily Pad! Before starting my daughter at Lily Pad, I had transferred her my from a previous daycare because she was having a difficult time with being comfortable there and would often have drop off refusal. However, at Lily Pad it was like night and day. The teachers and director were so supportive and caring, and my daughter felt comfortable at Lily Pad fairly quickly. She has been at Lily Pad for 2 years and she loves every minute of it, from her teachers, to the daily activities, to the new friends she has met along the way. My daughter has also learned so much from Lily Pad. Lily Pad teachers do an excellent job at providing much needed life skills and educational skills to prepare children for their developmental milestones and their future schooling. Additionally, the school is very cleanly and the teachers/director are excellent at communication. The school also provides lots of fun activities and experiences for your littles, such as family events and field trips. As a parent, it can be very difficult to feel at ease with others taking care of your child, but at Lily Pad I 100% know that she is in wonderful and loving care. If you are searching for a daycare/school for your child look no further than the Lily Pad school!

Today was my daughter's first day at Lily Pad. I went to pick her up and was greeted by Miss Alejandra. She was very kind and sweet. Then I met her teacher Miss Stephanie who was the exact same way. I know it's our first day, but I really felt comfort knowing that these are the kind of people taking care of my baby.

Lily Pad is the hidden gem of the west loop. After a poor experience at another local day care, we transferred here 2 years ago. I could not be happier. They care so much for my daughter, and her teachers and the staff feel like family to us. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Our son has been going to LilyPad 4-5 days/week for almost a year now. He started at 16 months in their “Tadpole” room with toddlers 1-2 yrs old. We had to switch daycares and were very nervous about having new care givers, we had a great experience at our previous daycare center. The teachers and management at LilyPad are EXCELLENT! They take pictures of your child daily, report back to you all the activities they participate in that day and any other exciting or important news. The staff genuinely care about the children. We have seen so much growth in our son since he began attending. He literally comes home and talks about his teachers and says he loves them and his school friends. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend this early learning/daycare center. We are staying until he is forced out! Update: I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the LilyPad community. Our son has bonded with so many teachers and friends and has become such a confident and kind little human and we owe LilyPad for so much of that, he spends more time here than he does at home and that is so hard as a parent by to know that your child is loved and being encouraged to grow and be independent is all I could ask for. We sadly had to leave the program today; I was literally in tears and wish we could transport this entire facility and staff to the new area we moved to, but if you’re looking for an amazing place to help care for your child, this is it. We will deeply miss LilyPad!

My two kids both go to Lilypad with my oldest went through every single class from the infant room to preschool classroom. We are very pleased with the environment over the years. Every teacher in every room is caring, nurturing, and a key part of my children's development. My older kid particularly thrived in the Bullfrog (pre-school) classroom over the last year. Her speech developed leaps and bounds within a year with all the activities, like life skills, stations, show-and-tell, in the classroom. I can't wait to see how my younger one grow up with Lilypad.
