Excited for the new transitions happening here! My daughters have attended the Dade City location of this management team and I cannot speak more highly of them. They offer a really enriching, advanced VPK curriculum that has my daughter beyond prepared for kindergarten. She is proficient in her letter writing, beginning to read, talking about science, and can almost recite all 50 states! I’m am glad their expertise will get to develop more young minds in Zephyrhills!
My 3 year old son started going to little stars when he was 1.5yrs. I wasn’t even looking for daycares when I stumbled upon them delivering flowers to Ms.Katherine, the office manager but I loved how organized everything was and I got an overall good feeling taking my son there. After he got comfortable with the teachers, I never had an issue dropping him off. He always brought home crafts and papers on learning the alphabet and numbers. That was until around August 2024 that everything changed. They opened up a new location so they had some of the teachers transferring and new teachers coming in, they took Ms. Katherine out of her position and it got pretty chaotic but I gave grace because I understand transitioning can be a difficult. Nothing changed within those 5 months though. It was like a new teacher was coming in every week and my son hated being dropped off. Two times I picked him up he was in a diaper that felt like it hadn’t been changed in hours and it caused a rash between his legs. We stopped receiving crafts and he was never in the same room. Fast forward to my son being potty trained, he never had accidents anywhere but there. They were not working with him and the consistency and structure was thrown out the window. I ended up pulling him out and putting him a new daycare where he’s thriving. This daycare has not been the same since Ms.Katherine left and I would not recommend anyone taking their child there until it goes back to the way it was.
My son was there almost 4 years and it was perfect till August 2024. My son who was almost completely potty trained completely stopped issuing the restroom at this center due to the stress. A new teacher everyday was in the center. Anytime Katherine was not in the center once again my payments were not accounted for. This center has lost multiple payments from myself who started paying in checks when this happened the first time. I used to brag about this center to EVERYONE who needed recommendations. I will NEVER recommend this center to anyone again! The new owners have ran a center that’s been around since I attended 20 years ago into the ground. It’s embarrassing!
I am so impressed with the new staff they have in place! My daughter and I love Lil Stars. The new management has been nothing but amazing and helpful. I would recommend Lil Stars to everyone! 10 out of 10!! Their new summer program is going to be amazing and my daughter and I are so excited!
My daughters attend the Dade City campus. Mrs Kerrie who's also the Director and her staff are great with all of the children! Wonderful learning environment! There are always projects and events planned throughout the year that the whole family can enjoy! Great place for kids! Deaisha
