After I had my daughter when I was ready to go back to work I will admit I was nervous about the whole "daycare experience" I had enrolled my daughter at Just Children. She was there for only a month it was horrible, my boyfriend & I were mot happy with them at all. I felt discouraged & then my stepdad told me about Lil Geniuses Academy. I spoke with Jaycee & got a tour of the place (at this time there was only the 1 location) just from the tour I loved it & it made me feel completely at ease from how clean it was to all the art work, books, toys, ect. So at 3 months my daughter Mackenzie was enrolled. Mackenzie graduated from Lil Geniuses in August last year. I have never seen a more dedicated staff in my life. My hat goes off to them. As Mackenzie got older she would always come home with funny stories about what her & her friends did that day. The staff goes to get lengths to educate & take care of all the children that go there (both locations). I have gone to some events that they have had & everything was wonderful. The staff are always keeping parents informed of what is going on not only in the daycare but in the surrounding neighborhood as well. Mackenzie was sad to leave but goes back to visit & I am very fortunate that she was able to make such great memories at such a young age. . It doesn't sit well with me that there are negative comments about this place. I highly recommend Lil Geniuses Academy to anyone that is looking for a daycare for their child/children. So keep up the amazing work Jaycee & staff. If only there were more places like this.
My son started at LGA a couple months ago, and we absolutely love it! As a first time mom, finding a daycare can be a little nerve-racking. I spent a ton of time going through review after review, photo after photo. However, I kept finding myself going back to LGA. So, I decided to make that initial call, and tour the center. After a great first phone conversation and tour with the owner, my husband and I knew it was the perfect match for us. We couldn't have asked for a better infant teacher than Ms. Mayra! She is so genuine and great with all of her babies. The center is very clean, professional, and inviting! As soon as you walk into the daycare, right away you'll notice a ton of artwork made by the kiddos. You really get a sense for how creative and hands on they are! I'm so happy we found LGA. It makes me feel at ease knowing my son is in good hands, learning, developing and making friends in an atmosphere that truly cares about his wellbeing. Thank you LGA! π
I was definitely excited, at first, to enroll my child in LGA. The facility is beautiful and the director seemed to be an open communicator, however that changed on my child's first day and we only lasted about 3 weeks dealing with this daycare. The staff are very nice but you are not allowed to speak to them during the day. A parent must call the director, who NEVER picks up the phone, to ask about your child, she then asks the staff and then gets back to you. However, the director is good with emailing and posting pictures on facebook. On my child's first day, the director was no where to be found and the staff did not ask for any paperwork. It was a very odd and awkward experience. Everyday I would pick up my child all of the children would be in one room, possible ages were 3months- 5 yrs old... Unacceptable. After several attempts to voice my concerns my last straw was when I arrived to pick up my child and to find dried snot all over her face, wasn't wearing her own clothes and smelled like poop! Apparently, she had the opportunity to stick her hands in her poopy diaper (which she has never done) and wiped it all over herself... : / When I took my child out of the daycare, I sent an email to the director and called her, neither of which were returned...that reflects the professionalism of the daycare. I donated 5 sleeping cots and never received a thank you... again lack of professionalism. Lesson learned, never judge a book by its cover.
I absolutely love the Somerton site! The girls there are extremely sweet. And the daycare owner is even sweeter. She has been working very well with me as far as my issues with CCIS! She is also a genuinely caring person. She took the time to inquire about my son when he was sick. They are very punctual getting my son on and off the school bus! I appreciate all of the staff especially the owner! You guys are the best
Nice daycare for the most part.... Not here to degrade anyoneβs business or anything like that, just sharing my honest opinion! Need to be way more professional, A LOT of false advertising. Seems anyone can work here. A lot of ridiculous/hidden fees for no reason! Picked My child up a few times smelling like poop and had dried snot all over... very interesting how you never meet the owner and if you need anything your always told something different from everyone, no one gets back to you unless you constantly ask and stay on top of them. Way too many young kids pretending to be teachers! Your child has a different teacher every week! I mean the list goes on... Definitely not what they advertise...
