Our daughter attended Lil Cottonwood Preschool for both her junior and senior preschool years, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mrs. Wissa is absolutely the best preschool teacher - patient, kind, warm, caring, and incredibly sweet. She made every child feel loved and supported, and our daughter still asks about her every week even though she’s now in kindergarten. That says everything about the impact she’s had! As first-time (and admittedly overprotective) parents, we felt so comfortable knowing our child was in such great hands. The school itself is a hidden gem - tucked away and gated, which gave us an added sense of security and peace of mind. One of the best parts of Lil Cottonwood is that it’s a co-op preschool. It allowed us to be involved in the classroom, see firsthand what our child was learning, and connect with other families who have now become part of our community. We are forever grateful for the wonderful foundation Lil Cottonwood and Mrs. Wissa gave our daughter - both academically and emotionally. We can’t recommend this preschool highly enough!
This preschool has created great experiences and memories for our family. With our first daughter, we were anxious about separating and starting school but it was a smooth transition. We love the intimate class size of 15 and the extremely patient, gentle, loving teacher. We love the co-op experience and being so involved in the school. Our second child is currently having a grand old time there and we plan to be back when our third is of age. We've recommended it to several friends and neighbors!
