Lighthouse Learning Center

Good luck ever getting someone to answer the phone or call you back after leaving voice mails. My son use to go here and was going to send him back again if they had an opening, but nobody ever calls you back. From my experience when my son was going there the director is hardly ever in the building. Don't know how you own and operate a daycare if you're never there.

All around great people. From both the owner(s) and the staff. They display an eagerness to teach and mold our little ones. They love what they do and I've seen them do some amazing things. During special holiday(s) they will do crafts with the children for Mom and Dad. They have a Wet Wednesday during the summer. They get to enjoy field trips with their teachers. They'll interact with music and learn their colors and shapes. Lighthouse learning center really is a great place to nurture your growing baby. And if you think you have a problem child and their is no hope. Think again. I had/have two little red headed boys that are really something else. Strong-willed. Defiant. Super intelligent. Onery. And i witnessed the patience with which the staff dealt with them. Very calm and assured. And i tell ya what I owe an awful lot to Lighthouse for how involved they are. My oldest is a total rockstar in math. We've had to incorporate harder problems into his assigned work from school so he doesnt get so bored. The point is, there really isnt another place in Taylorville where you could send the kids and obtain the type of care there as you would here
