Where do I start? This is a pathetic excuse for a school. And you're paying for it! The turnover with employees is unreal, there isn't really good stability for your child. There are no music, library, athletic programs for your children. The facility is in shambles. The staff is ugly to other employees. I absolutely would not recommend sending your child here. It's a nightmare. I cannot believe they are a church and run this way. Worse than any cheap daycare I've ever seen. No hot lunch either.
My daughter attended Kinder there and I couldn't be more greatful and pleased with the school!!! The staff was always so nice and really cared about my daughter's educational, spiritual and emotional development. Unfortunately we had to move to another state, otherwise she would have stayed enrolled there.
Wow! I have read some tough reviews regarding this school. My personal contact has been the front office and the very tall gentleman. They have been nothing but kind to both my daughter and I. Since I don't work there, I can't speak on it but i can speak on whether God is there or not. God is omnipresent. He's everywhere which means he's there for sure. A saying my pastor speaks often: to have friends and to feel that kindness of, you must first show yourself friendly. While my daughter only attends the homeschool department there, I couldn't ask for anything better. They're always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. They've even taking time to have conversations with my child through encouragement and expectations. She'll be 8th grade in a few weeks. They've encouraged her to work hard and she'll on schedule to be a freshman in the fall. We've homeschooled with them since 6th grade and I'm very happy and beyond satisfied with our experience with Lighthouse Christian Academy!
I'm a student here, i'm in the the 11th grade and have been here since kindergarten, this school has gone so far down hill.. please do NOT waste your time here.. they do not care about the education of your children and they make you pay way to much for education that your not getting! Not to mention the people running it don't care about the kids, education or parents.. only money!
I wouldn't even give this joke of a school one star! The assistant director is lazy and has attitude. They hire girls with felonies! They do not care about the safety of your children, nor their education.
