What Parents Say
Note: These reviews are primarily about Lifetime Fitness as a gym facility, not the daycare center specifically. Parents mention the Kids Academy childcare as an amenity, describing staff as attentive and professional with engaging activities that provide peace of mind while parents work out. The facility overall is praised for cleanliness, premium amenities, and quality service.
Specifically for the Life Cafe!!! Thanks to the Life Cafe Team for always being so pleasant and inviting. I absolutely love that there are weekly activities helps here, and that there are so many healthy food/snack/supplement options here! I had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and it is AMAZING! And a huge Thanks to Sarah for an exceptional meal today!
Life Time Johns Creek is easily one of the best gyms in the area. The facility is always spotless, the equipment is top tier, and everything runs in a way that feels organized and professional. It’s a great environment whether you’re lifting heavy, getting cardio in, or just staying consistent. The energy is serious but still welcoming, which makes it easy to focus and train hard. Special shoutout to Ashley and Nadja from the operations team. They’re consistently kind, professional, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You can tell they genuinely care about the members and the experience. That kind of presence makes a real difference. Highly recommend.
I went for 2 yoga classes, had a blast, both instructors were very knowledgeable and patient. The build is clean, organized and run efficiently. I liked the check in process that ensures non members do not just come in.
People complain wayyy too much. Life Time Johns Creek is hands-down one of the most well-rounded fitness and wellness centers in the area. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a clean, modern, and upscale environment that makes working out feel like a treat instead of a chore. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the overall energy of the place is positive and motivating. Not sure why all the negativity. It is run by humans who are not perfect . Yes every now and then you’ll get someone with a poor attitude or maybe a rushed cleaning job but overall a bice gym The gym floor is spacious with a wide variety of machines, free weights, and functional training areas. Even during peak hours, it doesnt feel overcrowded. The equipment is usually clean and in great condition, and the layout is sensible Like all the ones I been to the indoor and outdoor pools are both beautiful and well-maintained, perfect for laps or just relaxing. The sauna, steam room, and hot tub are excellent for post-workout recovery and are kept spotless. The locker rooms are also top-notch, with high-end finishes, towels provided, and even toiletries stocked—small touches that make a big difference. How can you complain unless you’re entitled Group fitness classes here are fantastic even though I dont go but I hear from my wife and others. The instructos seem knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely invested in helping you get the most out of each session. The schedule is packed with options, so there’s always something that fits your routine. If you have kids, the childcare (Kids Academy) is amazing depending on the time of the day. The staff is attentive and professional, and they offer fun and engaging activities that go way beyond basic babysitting. It really gives parents peace of mind and makes it easier to commit to a healthy routine. The cafe is another plus—healthy food, smoothies, and snacks with plenty of options that are actually tasty and satisfying. It can be a little pricey but you get what you pay fir here. Very quality eats Overall, Life Time Johns Creek feels more like a wellness resort than a gym. It’s a place where you can focus on your physical health, decompress mentally, and even enjoy some family time. Yes, the membership is an investment, but if you’re someone who values quality, cleanliness, and a full lifestyle approach to fitness, it’s absolutely worth it. Add the fact that they added a work space now this just went up a notch
For Life Time Fitness, the experience is not worth the price you’re paying. The membership fees are extremely high, and for that amount of money, you expect a consistently premium experience—but that’s not what you get. While the facilities themselves can be nice, some of the staff are unprofessional, which really takes away from the overall value. Service can feel careless or unhelpful at times, and that’s frustrating considering how expensive the membership is. When you’re paying this much, you expect better-trained, more professional staff and higher standards across the board. Overall, Life Time Fitness does not live up to its premium pricing. For the cost, members deserve better service, more professionalism, and an experience that truly matches what they’re paying for.
