What Parents Say
This is not a daycare facility—it is a fitness center/gym. Reviews praise the facility's amenities, cleanliness, staff friendliness, and community atmosphere, though some recent members express concerns about crowding, equipment reduction, price increases, and reduced hours.
Do not take your young kids here, there are several teenagers working here who are always leaning on the counter and really don’t care about their job. I brought my 2 year old and I let them know that she was new to daycare so she’s naturally going to cry. She did ok for the first week and towards the second week she was having more trouble staying calm, on the second week was her last week, she peed herself and drenched the rug on the spot she was sitting at. When I came no one was consoling her or soothing her. They just seemed annoyed and didn’t say anything. She had been sitting on her pee for a while and I was not notified that she was wet. They will hire anyone, and that’s not reassuring. And yes I was very frustrated, and before the staff starts twisting anything, I didn’t say a word to them when I walked out. I walked out and called my husband and expressed my frustration and anger, the youngest teenager came out of kids club, heard my conversation and interrupted my phone call to start a disagreement. At that point she was intentionally trying to start an argument and another member who didn’t even know the context of the situation and had just dropped off her kid as well stepped in and told me “give her a break, she’s just a teenager, you should hire a nanny instead” I cancelled my kids membership after that. I wasn’t going to have 2 ignorant people gang up on me in front of the bathroom while I’m having a private conversation with my husband over the phone. And honestly that girl should be fired. If the manager wants to speak directly with me, this happened on February 14 around 10:20, my baby’s name is Noor
Lifetime on Sawmill Road, when your zero star ratings are starting to catch up with your five-star ratings you are doing something wrong as a business owner. As a consumer I get it you guys have made so much money because you're the only one around doing what you're doing. But things like this don't last forever. Members can't ask questions. Members can't ask for help, members can't ask them to fix broken things, and if you ask the same question for too long it's easier for them to cancel your membership then to answer or fix broken things there are things that are broken at this lifetime that they have never fixed for 2-3 year. There are no accommodations for elderly people there are no accommodations for people with disability and they do not care. To the people that own this place please know there's no amount of money that is going to buy your way into heaven. How you treat people is what counts.. value and care about the people that are contributing to your wealth. those are your members. There are business owners right here today in Dublin working effortlessly to replace that lifetime. I've seen bigger better businesses go under because customers were offered better treatment than what they're offering customers at this lifetime. You guys are pathetic and Despicable I will never put my foot back in this lifetime on Sawmill Road. The new generation that's coming is all about ratings. We read those reviews before we commit to your business if Google had a zero star rating that's what this lifetime on Sawmill Road would get.
When one enters the Lifetime Fitness in Dublin, Ohio they are met with the hustle & bustle of a busy train station or even an entire cruise ship. A happy upbeat & inspirational environment lives here. It is a blend that matches one’s caffeine intake and reminds one to get your fitness goals done. This location is massive and one-stop-shopping for all of your wellness needs. The happy counter staff such as the very welcoming, Kenneth, to the kind cafe peeps and even salon staff that absolutely do not take themselves too seriously but are naturally happy and helpful. This was my second time and I wanted to do more than I did the previous time here. I had the privilege of taking a dance class with the soulful and intuitive instructor named Jenny. It was a high energy dance coreo set where she made sure all were included and shined with gusto during the end of class performance. She created a special ‘ring of accountability’ before and after the class was taught. A true safe space to your bold authentic yourself. This kind of teaching extends beyond one’s ‘self-care’ and exists on a frequency of ‘community-care’ and supports the ‘group mind’ of a creative set of artists or people wanting to draw more outside the box. The steam room and sauna were clean and detoxes one perfectly and so does the amazing hot tub and plunge pool duo and while taken all in rotation it was downright Japanese in their easy flowing easy to access layout. For every uptempo aminity there are downtempo ones too. A special shoutout to soulful Elizabeth Brown who taught a mid-day Root Yoga course filled with the best energy and well paced kindness. This is my kind of class, it’s solid and restorative in its pacing and keeps the yogi listening without the pressures of comparison. Elizabeth meets you where you are no matter the level of practice and look forward to booking her class again when I am in town next. Thank you Lifetime Fitness, I am a fan of what you do and all the work that goes into making this massive ‘cruise ship’ of a gymnasium sail flawlessly! Nameste! Keep up the good work! Ahoy!
Had my son's birthday party here, everything was PERFECT. When scheduling, ask for Maria Davis and ask that Annie and Abby be assigned to your party. Absolutely amazing. You do not have to be a member to book a party, anyone can!
I have been a member since 2008 and have finally had to seek other options. This club has completely fallen from grace. It was once the premier gym in town…The men’s urinals are always filled with trash, paper, gum, hair, it’s disgusting. Men are spitting and rinsing their mouths out on to the locker room floor. Everyone leaves their towels on the floor, along with trash and Q tips. There’s always bandaids and trash in the water outside. The gym floor is so crowded all evening that working out can genuinely cause stress due to having to navigate a herd of people. In most ways it’s not the staffs fault but given the price you pay to be a member here, it is absurd. Save your money.
