Mariah provided me with one of the most thorough guided tours of a facility during my visit to Lifetime on 9 January. Her more than decade of experience was readily apparent as she expertly answered all of my questions. Her professionalism and wealth of knowledge was truly impressive. I look forward to becoming a member soon. Kaitlin and Sandie from the pickleball/tennis area were also incredibly helpful! Leila from the kids zone was also extremely knowledgeable and gave me full picture of the services available.
I am canceling my family membership due to inappropriate political and racially insensitive comments made by the 9:00 a.m. class instructor at the gym. The remarks appeared directed toward Latino members and were completely out of place in a fitness setting. As paying members, we expect a respectful, inclusive, and neutral environment. A gym should focus on health and wellness — not political opinions or divisive commentary. Unfortunately, this experience made us uncomfortable continuing our membership.
This rating is for Carli at the LifeSpa. I have been receiving massages for 2-3 decades from various massage therapists as I travel. Carli is absolutely one of the BEST! She listened carefully to my expectations and needs, then expertly applied her knowledge of various massage modalities to address them. I visit Colorado Springs regularly and you can be sure an appointment with Carli will be a top priority when I’m in town! (PS - you don’t need to be a Lifetime Fitness member to use the Life Spa services.)
I was a Life Time member for over 6 years on a family membership, paying well over $17,000 during that time. Despite that loyalty, I was informed that I cannot cancel my membership immediately and am required to pay for an additional month simply for exercising the decision to cancel. That level of disrespect is astounding! Edited after owner response: Being “outlined in the agreement” doesn’t make this right. Life Time knows people cancel because they no longer want to, or cannot pay, and this policy is designed to exploit that moment to extract one last month of dues. BTW, if my membership change was an upgrade, there’d be no 30 day wait!
Very clean and spacious gym!! Wide variety of equipment and the pools are great temperatures! Huge parking lot too which is very helpful. Love working out here!!
