Life Time Athletic - Roseville

I needed a new hair stylist which to me is a daunting feat. I thought I’d check Lifetime since I’m a member. (You don’t need to be a member to use the Life Spa or the cafe.) My stylist was Brandi and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her & my experience there yesterday. A couple weeks prior to the appointment I had a color consultation and immediately Brandi understood what I was looking for. I came back for my appointment yesterday and am SO HAPPY that she got the color PERFECT! I wasn’t concerned the whole time she was doing my hair. I got a partial highlight with a trim. The Lifetime experience is always nice and whether I go in for a workout, yoga, a hair treatment, a massage or simply to steam or sauna….I ALWAYS leave feeling like a million bucks💖 Thank you Brandi for understanding and being the AMAZING and intuitive hair stylist you are🙏 I found my person and look forward to my next hair appointment. Off to yoga now 🧘‍♂️

Great facility, top tier trainers and Pilates instructors. I love the special events throughout the year. Summer time at the pool and outside bar is a must. Kid friendly, but still fun as an adult. I highly recommend this club! It’s my zen place. Everyone is super supportive, staff, club members, and management.

I cannot say enough good things about Steven. It is clear that he is incredibly knowledgeable, truly understands the science behind training, and knows how to program intelligently and safely. I have especially appreciated his attention to injuries. He never pushes past what’s appropriate; instead, he adjusts thoughtfully and still finds a way to keep me progressing and healing. Beyond his expertise, Steven brings such a positive, energetic presence to every session. He is professional, motivating, and genuinely invested in helping people grow. It is also obvious that he cares about elevating and educating fellow trainers, which speaks volumes about his character and leadership. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer who is both highly skilled and truly supportive.

This feedback is for management regarding the Kids Academy at Life Time Roseville. While food policies are understandable, the way they are communicated needs improvement. My husband was giving our son gummy bears, and a staff member responded, “Is that food? We can’t have that here—we’re not a daycare facility. Just water only.” The tone was abrupt and unprofessional. A simple, respectful reminder such as “Water bottles only inside the Kids Academy” would have been sufficient. This is not our first experience with poor communication at this location (Kids Academy). Management should address this to ensure families feel welcomed, not corrected.

Stay away from this place, go to another location! They are using AI generated responses to each terrible review with fake and meaningless words behind them, they are NOT trying to help and certainly are NOT trying to improve their customer service nor very prevalent widespread issues such as discriminatory practices. Employees and management are EXTREMELY unprofessional and derogatory. Management or “General Manager (he doesn’t do any managing) who goes by the name “Rob” does not care about any issues going on in his gym and is very condescending and instead of wanting to address a very prevalent issue going on in his facility he instead acts like he was forced to call or talk to you, not because he’s a “manager” and actually wants to care- instead of acknowledging that paying members are experiencing a very stand out issue that’s talked about widely by many members. I thought I was the only one with open eyes until I called corporate and they said in the last few months they’ve received “a surplus” of bad reviews regarding this facility and that they are handling it. Then I began talking to other members in the facility who also had similar stories. Before this I have held memberships at Equinox and Lifetime in many states as I am a traveling tech employee and never have I seen the unprofessional and gang-like behavior from anywhere else. Walked in here expecting the same professional and clean environment I have always experienced at Lifetime gyms nationwide but instead faced a rude and disgusting environment. Please make sure to go to Arden or up near Folsom, it’s worth the extra drive…. And a message to the gym: make sure your employees aren’t getting personal with anyone, keep professionalism and make sure they are there to do their job and leave, they shouldn’t be there to get personal with anyone. I wasn’t planning on publicly reviewing this, but seeing how it wasn’t handled privately allowed me to get here. Do better.
