After attending a large church in Dallas for two years, I found myself longing for deeper fellowship, authentic community, and preaching that was both honest and rooted in Scripture. God led me to Lake Highlands Baptist Church, and it has exceeded all my desires and expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness from people who truly desired to know me. Visiting a new church can often feel awkward or intimidating, but the members of LHBC made me feel right at home. Now, nearly a year later as a member, I can honestly say I’ve never been part of a more hospitable and Christ-centered church. The community is rich and encouraging, and each Sunday’s gathering—through the preaching of the Word, prayer, the Lord’s Supper, and worship—consistently brings glory to God and refreshes His people. Whether you’re searching for a new church home or attending church for the first time, you’ll find something truly special at LHBC.

LHBC has been a blessing to my Fiancé and I . If you’re new to the Dallas area, or are looking for a great church community LHBC is great. People from all walks of life attend, both young and old (well seasoned). While LHBC is strong in the area of hospitality, what made me decide to continue to come was the messages that were preached. The pastors here don’t sugar coat the Word.

Lake Highlands is what has truly made Dallas feel like home! My husband and I have been members of LHBC for 2 1/2 years. LHBC won our hearts by focusing on the ordinary means of grace (Scripture, Prayer, Fellowship) and by being a hospitable congregation. We have felt so loved and know at LHBC. The Lord has used LHBC to grow my understanding of the word by blessing this church with so many amazing Teachers/Preachers.

I love this church! I’ve been going here for 6 years now. It’s a great place to be surrounded by people who are passionate about learning the Word of God and living well and to be encouraged by godly examples.
