Best daycare. We were with them for 5 years until we had to move out of the state. All our three kids grew up there. The teachers care so much about the kids. My kids were always looking forward to go to school in the morning. They are awesome and we miss them so much. Thank you to our learning studio family. You rock!
I took my children here for 8 years and I loved it. My kids were always well taken care of. I have another baby on the way and I’m hoping the learning studio has room for our baby girl. I have never had any problems or concerns when it comes to my child’s care the staff are so welcoming and helpful when needed.
The Learning Studio is a place you can leave your child and know your child is safe. My son talks about the staff even when he is home ❤️. He loves going to school, which keeps me at ease as a mother. He’s learning so much and has fun doing it. Totally prepared for kindergarten 😄. 5 stars for The Learning Studio!
My daughter has been going thier since she was 1. She is know 3 my daughter comes home every day with a art picture and project she did. The teachers are so hands on with the kids. My daughter learns alot from the learning studio. If anyone looking for a good day care and safe one this is your place to bring your kids.
August 20th my 5 month old daughter started at The Learning Studio’s Daycare 1 Thompson Pl, in Derby Ct. I had complaints the first two days and the staff had a excuse every time I questioned them about my concerns. The LAST STRAW.... on August 27th I came into the Daycare and I noticed a young lady (Who did not work with the infants) dress in baggy clothes walkout of the infant room. I see my daughter with two headbands on her head, one of the staff members noticed me and grabbed one headband off her head and said “ oh that’s not yours” and put it on the lap of another baby. I asked her why did my daughter have on the other baby headband and she said “idk why she did that” looking at the girl who walked out. I spoke to the director (Amanda White) and I explained what happened and that I did not feel comfortable with the staff and want to change daycare. Her staff should not be playing around childishly with my baby or other babies. The Director first response was I signed a contract which states that I have to give three weeks notice and pay for the 2nd week whether my daughter attend or not. This lady had zero concerns about the welfare of my child or anyone else’s. She did not feel the need to hold her staff accountable but concerned about my deposit. Amanda white “The director” continued to dispute that I did not see my daughter with two headbands on because her staff did not admit to it. So she was basically calling me a liar, we just paid for registration, paid for her to attend and did all this paperwork to put her in the daycare to lie on her staff. Coming from 6 months of maternity leave that’s what I had planned for my first week back at work “sure Amanda”. Last but not least I came the next day to pick up my daughter belongings and they gave me someone else’s diapers (size 1) kept my daughters diapers and can of formula. Yes I’m sharing my experience because its important that other parents see the type of daycare this is and the type of nonsense the employees do with peoples children. How they carelessly mix up babies pacifiers, diapers, wipes, headbands and probably more, how the Director does not care about the children's safety or the unprofessional behavior her staff displayed. I wish I was warned ahead of time but I’m grateful that I seen past all the smiles and excuses the first week and not months later. My 5 month old baby can’t speak for herself but her mother will, sadly no one knows what other games or nonsense they played with my daughter or any other babies.
