I would HIGHLY recommend Leaps and Bounds to anyone looking for a daycare facility. My 8 month old is nothing but smiles when she gets there and when I pick her up. She practically leaps out of my arms when we walk in! The teachers are amazing and make everyone feel welcome. They are always patient and caring when interacting with the kids. I am very impressed with how clean and organized the classrooms and play areas are. I really enjoy the structure and consistency with each day, it has helped us a lot at home to get a good routine going.
My son went to Leaps and Bounds for over 8 years and loved it!!! He started going when we first moved here. Brandy made this new town feel like home to him. She is so caring and kind! When it was time for him to stop going it was a sad day for all of us. He always felt like Brandy was his second Mom and still goes to visit her. If you have a teenage boy you know how much that means. Every holiday I still miss the crafts he made. I kept every one, so creative and special. My favorite gifts! Leaps and Bounds isn't the fanciest around, they charge a modest price and work with what they have. They are clean, creative, and comfortable. They are easy to work with, and communicate well. More importantly they truly have love for children, that's why we chose them. My son will never forget the amazing care he received there. As a working mother, knowing someone cares for your child like there own, helps with the Mom guilt so much! He enjoyed his time there and I know several others who have as well! Highly recommend them!!!
We absolutely loved Brandy and her staff at L&B! Our son attended for several years up until 2019, and they always took excellent care of him as if he was their own. They are kind, caring and compassionate. Very communicative with parents and always available for questions. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this day care and highly recommend them!!
Both of my children have attended L&B since they were 9 weeks old. We started there in October 2015. My oldest is 5 & will be starting kindergarten this fall. He's right on track with his peers thanks to the circulum & education he's received at L&B. Mrs. Brandy, the director, is one of the most kind & gentle people you could ever ask to meet. I'm so thankful she's part of our village. The other teachers are equally as patient & kind. The center is always clean. My kids come home happy every day.
My son went there from 4 to 12 and loved his time there. He is now 14 and still to this day every now and then says he misses going there. They were alway attentive to his needs and made sure he was learning at the same time. Miss brandy and the other teachers always took interest in the kids individually and would approach them as such. Any time someone from the lees summit area asks for recommendations on child care I always say leaps and bounds.
