Leap School At Dakin Farm

LEAP School has been an absolute gift for our family. Both of my children (4 and 2) attend, and I can say with complete confidence that this school stands far above the rest in every way. The environment is incredibly safe, warm, and nurturing, and you can feel the care and intention behind every part of the day. My kids are learning through play, forming real friendships, and developing such a strong sense of themselves — all while having so much fun. The teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and genuinely invested in the well-being of each child. Their attentiveness and insight have amazed me. The small class sizes and excellent teacher-to-student ratios make it possible for every child to receive true individualized attention, and I’ve seen firsthand how beautifully they support different temperaments and learning styles. One of the biggest selling points for us was LEAP’s beautiful, spacious outdoor playground and their large indoor gross motor room. No matter the weather, the kids have plenty of space to move, explore, burn energy, and build strong gross motor skills. I also love that they make it a priority to get outside and experience nature every single day — something I feel is so important for young children. My children are thriving at LEAP, emotionally, socially, and developmentally. They are excited to go to school every morning and come home full of stories and confidence. I could not be more pleased with our experience so far. LEAP is everything a preschool should be — and more. Highly, highly recommended!

Both of my sons have attended this preschool, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We've had such a positive experience over the years, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care and intention that goes into every aspect of the program. The teachers are truly outstanding—highly experienced, deeply qualified, and clearly passionate about early childhood education. What sets this preschool apart is their thoughtful, individualized approach. They really take the time to get to know each child, meet them where they are, and work closely with parents to support each child's unique growth journey. The curriculum is play-based, with an emphasis on sensory experiences, social skills, and building friendships. I especially love their monthly book focus. Each month centers around a thoughtfully chosen book, with lesson plans and activities designed to spark creativity, foster a love of reading, and develop deeper reading comprehension. It’s a nurturing, enriching environment that supports both academic and emotional development. We feel so lucky to have found this school, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any family looking for a warm and intentional early learning experience.

I rave about Leap to anyone who asks about local preschools! Our older daughter has been at Leap since she was 2 and we will send our second daughter this fall. The teachers go above and beyond getting to know each child individually and supporting their needs. The curriculum is interesting and creative - I'm always surprised and impressed by the range of ideas! The classrooms are new, clean, and well managed plus the huge back playground is a kid's dream! Our family has felt so welcomed and supported throughout our two years at Leap and I can't wait to continue our journey with our second daughter.

We joined LEAP mid-year, starting in January 2025. I found LEAP through Google reviews, and upon reaching out, was pleasantly surprised by the quickness of response and professionalism of interaction. We were moving from out-of-state, and despite the distance, was able to have very thorough discussions with the director, Tricia, and assistant director/ambassador, Jaclyn, about the school’s philosophy and curriculum, all of which aligned with our family’s values. Jaclyn gave me a virtual tour of the LEAP Sudbury school, which impressed me with its intentional design and beautiful classrooms. This translates to how the students engage and interact with their school environment (teachers, peers, classrooms). My son was immediately welcomed, by both Stacey and his classmates, and I haven’t seen him happier! My son is also engaging with students in other classrooms, providing a rich social interaction. The quality of teaching is excellent. As Kindergarten approaches in the Fall, I’m confident that Stacey is providing the skills to set up the students for a smooth transition to elementary school. I could not be more pleased to have found a nurturing community in LEAP Sudbury!
