We are fairly new to this church. Been attending for past year and half. What a blessing this church family has to been to our entire family. Never felt so at home in a church since I was a child. They honestly welcome All to come. They know God in this church in a way I long to know Him. Definitely has helped me personally with my personal walk with God. And also has taken our kids and surrounded them with God's lessons and teachings.

We at Leakes Chapel welcome all individuals and families each and every Sunday with wide open arms and warm welcoming hands. I wholeheartedly express and share with the highest level of confidence and honesty, each and every member of our church treats all that enter with an abundance of acceptance, love, and outreach. To see that a negative review was written about our church and posted on our website referencing false statements about our dedicated members, reaches beyond my capabilities to express in words the level of disappointment I feel, especially seeing the source of this came from by our former ministers wife. In closing, seeing this post remains up for the public to see, is a clear representation that our church and it’s decision to move on was the right one. We have a lot of exciting activities and fellowship to share with everyone who seeks to follow in the steps of our Lord and Savior.

I am so grateful to be a member of this Church family of believers. We are not only a Church but a family who prays together, worships together and fellowships together. We have a growing and expanding youth program. If you love Jesus Christ and the exaltation of His name and His word then this is the Church for you. Leake's Chapel is a biblical sound Church dedicated to an unwavering trust in the Lord and His scripture. There are endless opportunities to learn the word here through our Sunday School classes and mid week Bible study. If you want to be taught the word of God, come and visit! -blessings

We DO MISS our FRIENDS. We do have some happy memories. We miss the choir too.Good Music. One family in particular always invited us over for dinner with all their families around. A couple of gentlemen even drove my husband Keith over to UVA for eye surgeries .In Eric's Redpnse...I m sorry I hurt you.I felt hurt...I m sorry. Please forgive me.
