We sent our son here in September 2025 and he is loving it! The school is organized and has a great outdoor environment which is great being in Los Angeles! In just three short months we have seen so much growth in our toddler! He is talking a ton and is always excited to go to school. We are currently enrolled in their half day program from 8:30-12p Monday - Friday. The school offers healthy snacks and lunches daily and even supports in potty training which we are softly starting. As a “first-time” parent this is very valuable! The LPG community has a neighborhood vibe (not too big or too all business-feeling) and the faculty and staff are consistently communicative, friendly, and kind. If you’re looking for a daycare with a thoughtful curriculum, screen-free environment, and engaging and warm community, consider Le Petit Gan!
This is the first year my son has been at Le Petit Gan and he’s loving it. The peole there really take care of the kids. Since putting him in school his language skills has exploded and he’s havingthe best time!
We love Le Petit Gan. My son (now 7) went to LPG for almost 4 years and now my 3 younger children attend LPG. I wanted to write this review because I remember how stressful it was as a first time parent trying to find a safe place for my young child. I hope this review helps all of the other stressed and worried moms like me! 1. Trust and Safety: I truly trust LPG with my children. It’s very scary as a parent to let another person, or school care for your small children, but I know my children are always safe at LPG. All of the teachers love the children very much and my children love their teachers and are excited to see them every morning. I cannot stress enough how important it is to find a safe environment for your children and the peace of mind it gives you when you find trustworthy people. It is priceless. 2. Curriculum: LPG has a great curriculum and my son was fully prepared for kindergarten by the time he left LPG. All of my young children (toddlers) know their colors, counting, alphabet and can even recognize small words. 3. Values: I decided to send my 3 smaller children to LPG after I saw what a great job they did with my son and his friends. My older son (7) is very kind and respectful and so are all of the kids that attended LPG with him. A lot of these social skills are learned early in life and I am so grateful to LPG for teaching them. When my son entered public school I saw that not all children have learned these skills, but all of the kids that attended LPG are kind, respectful, smart and sweet. The foundations in those early years are so important! If you are looking for a safe environment for your children where they will learn good values and become good humans AND be prepared for kindergarten then LPG is for you!
First thing I have to say about Le Petit Gan, is that my son has been so happy since he's been going early 2013. He adapted quickly and I'm sure it had to do with the level of commitment, care and love that Sophie brings to the kids. Second is that same level of commitment focused on the kids is given to the parents as well. On days that I felt unease, I got text messages from the school with pictures of my son happy and having a blast. This kind of communication to me is priceless. It's also great to see the photos Simon takes every week of the kids, he's a great photographer. On another note I have seen my son improve on many levels. He has been a slow talker, and can now speak much better, is more confident and creative. He loves cooking with Sophie as well as gardening and art. I am thankful to have Le Petit Gan in our neighborhood and will highly recommend it.
We are so happy we decided to send our 2-year old to Le Petit. It's clear our kid loves it. When we're slow to get out of the house in the morning, he urges us toward the door, imploring "school! school!" And then he comes home, singing songs and counting in other languages -- things he learned at school. Le Petit also has a good amount of outdoor space, with a bunny, chickens, and a little garden. When we drop him off, we know he will spend the day being loved by the teachers, learning with friends, and eating good food.
