Laura'S Barn Childcare Center (Pre-School)

The worst experience. Everyone there is extremely toxic, judgmental, and two-faced, especially the director, Sheila. Sheila, Evelyn, and Melissa were rude and unprofessional. Sheila, the director at the Blanco Rd location, has a stuck-up attitude and acts superior just because she’s the director. All the teachers there are judgmental, two-faced, and not nice at all. They think they are so damn perfect when they are not. Very uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t recommend the center on Hitchcock Rd either because they are extremely toxic and a two-faced just like short Melissa the director of the center at Hitchcock Rd. Disgusted by everything.

This daycare is excellent. I couldn’t be happier with them. My child is happy and engaged and the teachers are very caring. Knowing she is taken care of and having fun is a relief and blessing.

We are so grateful to Laura’s Barn for helping our child grow and develop. I would not call LB glorified babysitting in any capacity. They have planned activities throughout the day - artistic, fine motor, verbal/linguistic, sensory, and free play! They have events for parents and a friendly caring environment. I always see happy children who are kept active, and the on site managers/staff are absolutely amazing people and give updates at the end of the day and throughout the day on the Procare app. The staff are caring and attentive and they have teacher training days where staff are also educated and refined in their roles, which I think is phenomenal. Getting pictures of my kid interacting and playing with other kids and learning so much makes being a working mom possible. I really can’t imagine a better situation for our family. Thank you LB!!

Having my son enrolled in Laura’s barn has been an amazingly positive experience for myself and my child. I work remotely and do a lot of traveling here and there, and I’m always comfortable knowing that my child is being well taken care of And developing at a fast pace! The teachers and directors are very communicative concerns or questions I have regarding the center and well-being of my child. I recommend anyone that is looking for a daycare to look into Laura’s barn.

I have had both my kids at Laura's Barn. I love that my kids get so many experiences that most preschools do not have. They have science lessons, cooking activities, and even a gymnastic teacher come in once a week. When my son matriculated to kindergarten, he was ahead of most of his peers because he could already write his full name and do basic math. The love shown from the team at Laura's Barn is amazing. They seem to really relish in all the success that my kiddos achieve.
