Las Vegas Athletic Club - E. Flamingo

Best fitness value in the area. My wife and I have been members for 5 years. The facility has free weights, machine weights, plenty of cardio options, a 1/6th mile indoor run/walk loop, women only weights area, swim laps, large locker/shower room and free spin/yoga/dance classes. Overall, the facility is well maintained, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We have been members at many clubs over the years, LVAC is the best value. There are other high end options in the valley, but at a far higher price.

Gym itself is decent. Seems like machines are constantly needing to be fixed/out of order. Read the fine print of the contract I suppose! Called to downgrade my membership and it was a $35 fee. I already paid on the 15th of November for the membership tier I previously had, but unfortunately whenever you call to change the membership they immediately change your status instead of letting you finish the month with the perks that you already paid for. And of course, I was not told this until after the transaction was made. I couldn’t help but laugh when they told me that, and the person on the phone laughed with me. At least we could have a good laugh together! Would change gyms if I wasn’t moving in a few months. Don’t feel like going through another fee to cancel and then another fee to join a new gym just for 3 months. Transparency would’ve been nice. You live and you learn I guess.

This review is about David, one of the associates that helped me and my family with signing up while we were in town for a short period. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He helped us get the most for what we needed. The gym itself, while yes, it is very crowded. I went mostly mid day on weekdays between 9a-12p and always found a tread, free weights, a bench or matt, and a space to do my workouts. Would gladly come back when we are back. Thanks again David!

I was pleasantly surprised. Easy sign up. Nice facility. The walking track is nice. Only "complaint" is the smoothie bar should have nutritional info

I’ve been going to LVAC for the last 15 years and I have had nothing but an amazing experience over those years! Clean and up to date facility, super affordable membership fees, and unbelievable staff! Matt especially has always been so friendly & welcoming every time I am there, and has been very helpful with any questions I have had. I will continue to recommend to friend and family as the best gym in Vegas!
