"Headstart in Cheyenne is locking your children in the classrooms from the inside, so you you cannot enter the classroom. And there are child proofing devices on the inside of the door knobs so your children cannot leave the classroom. They lied to me and said a "shelf was in the way" when I took my child and left. They know they messed up. They are denying your children water when they are thirsty, and they are ignoring drs notes to bring their own water bottles stating "they provide water bottles". My daughter has told me this is not the case all the time. They are refusing dr notes to pack your child lunch when they have specific dietary needs. I am appalled. I am upset. And I am sharing for any parents who have their kids in headstart here so they can be aware. I am not saying they are harming the children, but these are exact environments that foster the ability to harm children, and I will always blow the whistle on people who think this is okay. Always." My grandson goes to headstart and it's an amazing place for him. Mr. Nelson is fantastic and is always willing to share my grandson's day with us. Mr. Nelson is an amazing educator... Thank you, Mr. Nelson you are appreciated.
