As a new father I was extremely nervous about finding a daycare that not only I, but their mother can both agree on. After our first interaction with the staff and seeing all they do for my child, we both came to a very fast yes to La Petite Academy. A year later, my child enjoys going to school and we have yet to have an issue with anything they have done at the school. I would highly recommend them for any new or even experienced parents.
My daughter has gone here for a year. we were so skeptical of putting her In daycare at first but La Petite changed that. The teacher and staff are so amazing. They are patient with my girl and they are always so nice. She has dietary restrictions and all the teachers are so good about following it and making sure she doesn’t get anything she can’t have. When she’s having a bad day and doesn’t want us to leave the teachers will comfort her. She comes home talking about everything she learned. There are cameras you can view during the day that gives us peace of mind. We are due with a second baby soon and when we are ready for them to be in daycare we will 100% be sending them to La Petite.
The teachers and management are extremely unprofessional. Staff yell at children, withhold food as a form of punishment, and provide inconsistent or dishonest explanations unless parents intervene and escalate concerns to upper management. One teacher even told me to “fight her outside,” which is completely unacceptable and alarming. Best decision I ever made was pulling my child out.
My daughter has been going to this school since she was an infant. It has been nothing short of amazing! The staff and management team are so kind and attentive. I would recommend this center to anyone.
I have two kids enrolled in this daycare. One has been with them for 4 years, and the other started as an infant and has been with them for almost 2 years now. I can honestly say this facility is my village. The comfort level they provide for me, knowing my kids are in good hands, is incomparable. They are very caring and always notify me of anything that is going on. My children are very comfortable here, and it shows as I pick them up, and they have to hug all the teachers and directors goodbye. I have gotten to know all the teachers and directors here. They take the time to answer any of my questions and listen to any updates I have for them on my kids. My daughter attended VPK here, and when she got to kindergarten, they let me know she was ahead of her class, already reading at a 1st-grade level. They make sure to have themed weeks during summer for the school-age kids, including field trips. For holidays, they put on family events for parents to enjoy activities with their kids. Which I find to be a nice personal touch. The director, Ms.Dawn, does an amazing job of leading her team. I encourage those who are considering to take a tour and see for themselves.
