Lane Good Council Montessori School is a child daycare & preschools daycare located at 2220 Sproul Rd, Broomall, Pennsylvania PA. Find contact info, location details, and similar daycares nearby.
We have been at Lane for 3 years. We used to love the experience there, but we slowly came to realize the culture of fear that resides in the teachers. The owner/president is condescending and rude, and he sees children as dollar signs. The teachers leave in hordes and we, as parents are left trying to explain why their beloved role models are leaving. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I had my daughter at Lane Montessori School for about a month. In the beginning everything was great except for the directors nasty attitude. She acted as if she didn't want to be bothered with any parents or students unless it had to do with getting more money for the school. Well one day my wife picks up our daughter from school and notices a bruise on her arm from a obvious bite mark. She calls the school to ask them what happened and they didn't know anything about it. The next day we go to the school to find out what happened and they tell us that morning that they had to remove my daughter from the class room because she was crying over a toy she took from one of the students. I asked them if the student may have bitten her because she took his or her toy and they told me that they didn't know and that my daughter didn't report it. She is two years old and doesn't know how to report these type of issues. So I told the school I was uncomfortable witht he situation since they had no answers for me and that I felt that anyone could have bitten her whether it be a student or teacher. Because of the comment I made about my concerns about who had bitten my child the school said the teachers and assistants felt "uncomfortable providing care for my daughter and could no longer provide care." They essentially kicked my daughter out of the school because they did NOT do their job and because I didn't just accept their lack of answers to me as to what happened to her at school. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT WATCH THE CHILDREN APPROPIATELY OR GIVE YOU THE CORRECT ANSWERS AND TAKE THE CORRECT ACTIONS TO REMEDY A BITING SITUATION THAT HAPPENED RIGHT UNDER THEIR NOSE.
