Lakeview Child Center At Hamilton

My daughter transferred from The Learning Experience over a year ago. She has progressed so much since then, she speaks more clearly, sings, is so smart, and loves going to school. Jenn, the director is fantastic and is always there to listen o concerns and it’s so friendly. The other teachers , Ally, Christine, Pam, and Chelsea are all amazing and treat my daughter like their own. They keep the app updated all day with info, updates, and pictures. I feel so much better about having my daughter enrolled here.

I do not recommend it at all!! The times we went to ask for information, our daughter came in very excited because the place has nice facilities. We explained that our daughter has autism, they told us that there was no problem, since they already had a case of another child like that, however, the day we arrived they had not defined which class to assign her to even though they already had her supposedly clear entry date. In the end they put her in a class where the children were sleeping at that time and they said that there was no problem, however we felt a little worried because we saw that with the classroom in darkness they left her sitting on an armchair, she was 3 years old, we still wanted to trust her. My daughter was calm at that moment that day but in the afternoon when we arrived they told us that she spent practically the 4 hours she was there crying and they could not calm her down. No one could tell us which teacher she was with, no one knew if they took her to the bathroom since she doesn't wear diapers, no one knew if she ate and when we went to look for her in the yard they had her with a tablet since that was the only way they could calm her down which bothered us a lot since we don't even put it on her at home. We showed them how upset we were that no one knew anything and they didn't do anything about it, when we went to look for her bag in the supposedly assigned classroom, it wasn't there and they had it in the reception which made it clear to us that they didn't know what to do with her practically. At home we received a call promising that the next day everything would be different, however every time our daughter sees that place despite her excitement she had before, she cries thinking that we are going to take her back. When we arrived, we stayed at the reception desk watching how they handled her and they couldn't control her for more than half an hour. When we spoke to the director who was there that day, she told us that they really don't have the capacity to work with children with autism because the classrooms have too many children and they don't have the training. In short, they sold us a false illusion and the director didn't know how to solve anything. We left with our daughter. In that case, we know that money isn't the most important thing, but for those 4 hours that our daughter had a terrible time, we paid approximately $300 between registration and the cost of the week. In short... AWFUL experience!!

I feel very lucky to have found such a special place to leave my son, starting with the director Ms Jen and Ms Ally. Since I entered with my son I feel that we are at home, the kindness, respect, love with which they treat my son daily is something very amazing , they always greet us with a smile at any time of the day, the teachers are very responsible and loving with each child . I feel that this is a very safe place for children , and I appreciate that the cook very delicious and healthy meals , that are on top on the app and that’s very important for me to know what’s my son is doing during the day . Seeing how happy he is there is such a great feeling .

I could not be more thankful to have my child in this place. This is like a second family to my son. The director, teachers and staff that work there are super friendly and care about our kids. They always working hard in develop different activities for our kids to learn and have fun at the same time. Love their meals too they are very healthy and besides taking care of our kids learning, they care about their health too. God continue blessing this place. It is worthy and a good investment in your child's early education.

Big shout out to the teachers for persevering during the transition and making us feel at ease continuing to trust the best care for our son is being met, and always answering the phone when questions arise. Quite a few teachers have been at this center for many years, and the new staff seem equal to the challenge and seem to fit in well. Our son has been unaffected by the recent changes and continues to show so much progress, and is super happy and tired at the end of everyday, making friends and playing hard!
