I have had two of my three children attend Lakeside Children's Academy, and I will have to say that I have never felt such a family oriented environment. I never once was concerned about their well-being. Both of my children also had a head start in their learning curve because of the dedication of each one of the teachers there. When they came home from their day, they always had a smile on their face and had new knowledge. The teachers would even send home daily sheets to let you know in detail how their day was. The owners of this facility are humble, caring, and have standards that they uphold. There is no question why they have been open so long. I definitely recommend Lakeside to anyone looking for a safe place for your babies.

All three of my children have attended (from baby through pre-K) Lakeside over the last 10 years. I am so grateful for Lakeside teachers who love and care for my kids like their own. Lakeside has prepared them so well for kindergarten and beyond!

The Lakeside family has become our extended family. I surprisingly saw a negative review by a disgruntled former employee below and it prompted me to leave my 1st review. I have 3 boys. My older two have gone to different places for child care/preschool, including the prestigious Community School in Ladue. My youngest has been at Lakeside since he was an infant, now 5, heading to kindergarten. Lakeside is a safe, enriching, fun environment. Most importantly, it is a family owned-and run business with a LOVING, friendly culture. They communicate weekly lesson plans, regularly ask for feedback for improvement, and have consistent teacher continuing education. Personally, I am very pleased Lakeside owners/director do not tolerate any teacher who is not meeting their high expectations. It creates a culture of excellence and mutual respect. Highly recommend!

Nothing is more Important than finding a safe, loving, fun, learning environment when it is necessary to find daycare for those most important to you, your children. Our family has been fortunate that Lakeside has been able to meet our various needs. Two of my grandchildren, five of my great nieces and nephews, and many of my teacher friends children have enjoyed all the opportunities available at Lakeside. Many of them have been there from infant thru pre-K and for summer school. My husband and I have visited many times throughout the years and always felt welcomed and comfortable with the staff members. We’ve trick or treated to the nursing homes, enjoyed the bubble bus, visited for grandparents day, and watched our kiddos “graduate”, among other fun times. They offer a variety of packages from full time to part time care, after school and summer camp. I particularly like the fact that the owners are on site daily, unlike many chain run daycares. They have consistent interaction with parents and in our case grandparents whenever we were on pickup. Close to Highways 270, 141 and 44 they can help with your commute time. Hope this review helps someone else find peace of mind as they entrust their children to daycare.

As an early childhood specialist and elementary teacher I searched long and hard for the right place for my children. Lakeside was by far the best of the best. Our twins weren’t just watched, they were cared for and the staff became a part of our family. We loved the teachers, management and owners. I was able to return to work with peace of mind that I had found the best place for my children!
