Lakeside Baptist Day Care Center

We have been super pleased with the care of our children. We have an almost 3 year old and just recently started our 4 month old. They communicate with us as needed and they have very experienced care givers on staff. We feel comfortable and secure dropping our kids off each morning, and our 3yo is always excited to run back and see her classroom and friends. Thank you for all you do!!

They are constantly changing the contract with no notice to parents. Parents aren't allowed in the classrooms, makes you wonder what they're hiding. The director told us that the fob scanner would be deactivated at 5:30 and we wouldn't be able to get in the building to get our child if we were even 1 minute late. Changing fees constantly. Any stars is for one teacher in particular. The director might care about the kids, but doesn't about the parents at all.

This place is being ruined by the director. There are some good teachers here, we loved our experience with the older infants and twos teacher. However, the preschool has to be among the worst. The teacher is constantly on her phone at the playground. The director requires a two hour nap time for 4 year olds entering kindergarten in the fall. She still believed that public school has nap time in kindergarten. She is way out of touch! Our son (was stopped napping soon after turning 4) was asked to lay still in a dark room for 2 hours, with no other alternatives, despite asking numerous times. One nap time he became frustrated at being told to lay back down and be still and he threw his pillow in frustration. The director immediately terminated our family from the center citing she felt unsafe. She is a joke! Luckily we were able to find another preschool almost immediately, and my son just graduated this week! For reference, he had zero "discipline problems" at the new preschool. The new preschool assured us they never had any safety concerns or felt unsafe around him.

Lakeside Baptist Daycare is a warm and welcoming place with a kind and attentive team. The atmosphere feels safe, supportive, and truly focused on the children’s growth and happiness. It’s wonderful to see such a caring environment for families. We’d be happy to collaborate in the future and bring some fun programs from Let’s Party Event Agency to their amazing community.
