Lakeside Baptist Church

Lakeside is a church where we hear THE word of God each week and are encouraged to live it daily. We would welcome anyone to come visit...I bet you'd stay.

Great church. Very friendly. Wardrobe can be casual or dress up, whichever you prefer. A mix of traditional and contemporary music is accompanied by a variety of instruments. I felt right at home immediately. Childrens safety is taken very seriously. Children's church is nice - per a child who has attended. 😁 The Lord Jesus is always the central focus and there are a number of prayer and bible study options. I don’t think there is enough space on this review to say how amazing this place is. The director, teachers, and all staff are absolutely the best. I trust these individuals like I would myself with my kids. My kids would refuse to leave until they saw multiple staff members in different classrooms to give them hugs. Both of my children are well advance in their education because of this place. This place has a great facility and offers so much to the children through out the year and has an excellent summer program. My oldest looked forward to the summer camp all year. The after school program is wonderful and has fun activities to keep the children busy and learning, they also help with homework. They start from infant age and up and stay fully staffed. They do not reduce staff during the day to save money, the children come first in making sure there are enough hands not just for standard adequate state regulation care but because they truly care about these kids. This place is more than just a babysitting service. We recently had to move out of state and the hardest part about leaving was Lakeside Baptist Daycare.

We recently toured the preschool with the Assistant Preschool Director with our child who has a physical difference. We were contacted by email and told they would not allow special accommodations in the handicap stall for our child in their adult sized bathrooms because these restrooms are used by church members and other children. What kind of church preschool doesn't adhere to federal disability accommodations for a special needs child? AND why doesn't their facility have LOW toilets for these small preschool children to use that are child sized? We gracefully replied that this preschool would not be for us. We will keep them in our prayers. Shocked and disappointed and certainly did not feel Godly love.

Lakeside is a family friendly church that loves the Word of God and His people. My family and I relocated to the area and the church family has welcomed us right in. Children and youth programs are excellent and there is plenty of opportunity to learn and serve.
