I was attending a funeral of a cousin. The people working at the church were very kind. The music director sang a beautiful song and led the congregation in two hymns. The minister knew my cousin very well and he told things about him and the family that I didn't know. It was a very nice service. The church is so beautiful and so big!
The Lakeside choir hosted a non-perishable food drive for Grace Klein Community and they were so generous, we had to make multiple trips! They choose to be the hands and feet of Christ to our city and we are grateful to link arms with them!
The wedding assistant was extremely rude. They tried to charge us double what they said. We payed for a custodian and on our wedding day my husband and bridal party had to move the stage, chairs and equipment and my husband's back is now hurt. So why did we pay a custodian?We have left several messages with staff and no one has returned messages. We were supposed to get a beautiful flower arrangement from the church and we got nothing. Do NOT get married here.
Been going to Lakeside for over 30 years. Bro. Greg Corbin, our pastor, has such a sweet sweet spirit. He allows the Holy Spirit to totally take over and preaches the Breath of God. The Word of God. The Holy Bible. Every service from the scriptures. You cannot leave without feeling something from this amazing team God has placed together, this church and it's people. Chris Diffey, our Minister of Praise and Worship, feels our hearts and voices with beautiful melodies as we sing praises and worship our Lord and Savior continuously every week. From every musical instrument to every voice in the choir, ensembles, etc. There's something for everyone! Small Group Worship Studies-(Sunday School) is one of my favorites. I can't think of any other place to join in for worship and fellowship. Lakeside, The Caring Place.
Great church and the child care department and nursery are top notch. I love how secure that dept is and the pagers parents get while in church. It takes the stress off of worrying about your young child or baby while in the service or Sunday School.
