If you’re seeking biblical truth, this is a wonderful church home for you. I was raised in church, and I still feel so refreshed every week because I make new scriptural and spiritual connections all the time. The discussions are insightful, and everyone is so friendly it’s easy to participate in the conversations. If you have questions about faith the staff and pastor are extremely well versed in scripture and historical context. I feel confident every time my children are in their classes that they’re learning solid biblical truths. As a young adult and family with little-ones, the fellowship is really fun. Our group activities sometimes give that church camp vibe, which is super funny with a bunch of adults, truly an amazing group to grow with! I constantly feel thankful that God led us here.
We had tried multiple churches in Lubbock and knew immediately our first Sunday it was where we were supposed to be! Biblical preaching and worship, family centered, and such loving people. You'll feel right at home!
My son attend the Vbs program this year and everything was going great until I picked him up a lady from the church pulled me to the side and asked me if my son was autistic. We don't even attend this church wanted to check it out to see if we liked it. But that put a bad taste in my mouth once again about churches. That lady didn't even know who we were and assumed something that was way out of line. Very unprofessional and rude.
Well these reviews much be from members getting what they want cuz they sure don't care about an elderly woman needing to use a parking space to stay safe while looking for a 2 nd job and trying to afford high rent while waiting on social security. I was so hurt when one woman asked me what I was doing and said I couldn't park there after I called and got permission from someone else that does have God in her heart! I was so upset I went on the other side of the building to use wifi one more time and a different woman came out and shook her head NO at me!! This is NOT GOD'S WAYS!!! MATHEW 24:12 SAYS FOR THE LOVE IF MANY WILL GROW COLD IN THE END TIMES ! people don't see it unless your struggling and need help! JESUS hung out with the poor NOT hipicrits!!! SHAME ON YOu LAKE RIDGE! You have 370 parking spaces and you were so worried about one! ILOVE MY JESUS AND HE WILL GET ME THROUGH THIS AND HE SEES EVERYTHING!!
I became the pastor of LakeRidge Baptist at the end of March and my family moved here at the end of May. We love Lubbock! And we love LakeRidge Baptist Church. You know it's hard to make a big move like that, but what I have found at LakeRidge is a family. People who love you, welcome you, have a spiritual kinship with you, and encourage you. It just feels like Home!
